I'm sick... :( Flu?

This is really bugging me (no pun intended)...

Is the flu going around or something? I woke up this morning and I feel like crap. I haven't gotten out of my PJs yet, and I am supposed to leave for the airport in an hour to pickup Thumper.

I ate some chicken noodle soup (yuck), had some jello, and took some medcine, but I still feel lousy... Sore throat, cough, raspy voice, headache, and body aches... I'm not going to throw up or anything, but all I want to do is crawl back into bed and sleep...

Anyone else feeling under the weather?

for sore throat and all, I'd recommend gargling with lukewarn salt water, it helps.

Also, warm some water over the stove and breathe in the steam. Its really good for any sort of congestion.

unfortunetly, PAB is right...fluids and rest. sorry...if it makes you feel better, I've been sick for about two weeks now. ick.

I'll try the warm water over the stove idea however.

Fluids and rest? At least I don't have to worry about going to work tomorrow.

The real danger is that even if I get someone to pick her up, she'll want to come over and take care of me, I just know it... I don't want to get her sick...

No it isn't, it's boring...

I don't really want to eat anything, and I'm getting dizzy now...

Sigh... no one has called me back yet, the airport is over 30 minutes away, I'm never going to be able to drive out there, drive her home, then drive home... That would be about an hour and a half, and then I might really be sick...

This sucks...

Sigh, I really owe him big time, I really didn't want to force her to find her own way home, that would be really unfair, but I'm far too sick to go out driving for an hour and a half.

Well, if she gets sick then its your duty to go over there and take care of her. Girls appreciate it much more then guys, trust me.

had this last week, i get it about this time of year every year and it lays me out for about 3 days straight

also leaves me with a chronic cough for the winter, gah

anyway, triaminic and coadvil did it for me

oh, and nyquil, even during the day, because if youre sick....why be awake. stuff tastes like shiite tho, really awful

I answered the door in my PJs, and she said, "oh, was I expected?" I tried to laugh but broke out in a coughing fit, nearly fell over. I asked her to please not come in, as much as I'd love the company, I know she has to work tomorrow and she is out of sick days at her day job. Given that I'm out of work, I might have to borrow money from *gasp* her for awhile, so she needs to be there...

She brought me three oranges, ginger ale, MORE chicken noodle soup, chloraseptic, and some jello.

She's the greatest, isn't she?

Anyway, I'm going to make myself some more stupid chicken noodle soup, yuck... Tried to sleep before but just laid there...

If you are congested then Vicks rub is your freind. You can really splurge and get the vaporizer and the vapor additive. THAT STUFF RULES. I use that vaprizer on the kids.

Crabby congested kids, Pop in a disney DVD and run that bad boy. Kids can breath and sleep.
