I had to lol when I saw some douche today in his subaru with a carbon fiber trunk (nothing else CF). I wonder how much money he pissed down the toilet on that silly thing. Mods are notoriously poor at giving extra power for money spent and notoriously awful when it comes to selling the car in regard to what money you'll get back. Nothing but thousands of dollars would make a boring car like this fun to drive.
Agreed. a 4-cylinder Accord with an automatic is about as boring as a car gets, and, other than reliability, one can scarcely imagine a worse place to start as a platform for modding. The mods will hurt the car's otherwise excellent resale value, and will do nothing to cure its essential dullness.
The strong resale means that it will get good value if sold or traded in, and if it were mine I'd ditch it (as I did with my own, much better-equipped '98 Accord).
