Come to me my child and I shall show you the way.

Flesh consumption should be measured in pounds per day.

Beat up a horse and steal their oats every day.

Consume copious amounts of diary products.

Eat more. You probably think that you eat a lot, but it's still not enough. Count your calories and macros. Most people do this lose weight, but guys like you and I have to do this to gain weight. If you're pretty active, you should probably be pushing 3500+ calories/day with something like 40% protein/40% carbs/20% fat. Try this and report back.

Easy calories are whole milk, nuts, and nut butters.

nut bar recipe:

Take some honey, some molasses and some marshmallows. The marshmallows are the real binder for everything. Honey and molasses are for taste.

Put hte stuff above on top of stove top and put uner low heat while mixing. Once marshmallows are melted toss in your premeasured nuts, seeds, dried fruit, etc. Mix mix mix.

make sandwich:
glass pie plate
wax paper with non stick spray
the nut mix you made
wax paper with non stick spray
glass pie plate

Put two 10 pound weight on top (put hand towel or something between glass and weight). Place on counter for an hour while things pack in from the weight. After that toss, in fridge.

next day, take it out. Let it sit for 30 minuites. remove top wax paper and glass plate. Stick back in fridge for a few hours. Take out, cut into pieces with sharp knife. Trust me, nothing will fall apart.

After that, let it sit for a while then take the pieces out and package for later consumption. I store them in the fridge.

Delicious and calorie dense liek you wouldn't beleive.

Don't forget he flax seed!

I'm 6'4". When I graduated college I weighed 165 pounds. At 6'4" that's pretty damn skinny. I now weigh 225. It's doable. Oats, Eggs, Milk, Meat.

You mention your "nice small abs" ... my guess is you are too afraid to lose them to eat enough to gain weight.

In addition to eating right, you have to lift heavy.

I see all sorts of skinny kids at my gym doing an insane number of reps with virtually no weight. Start charting each workout with the goal of increasing the weight you are lifting.

Do squats and deadlifts until you can do 225lbs+ with good form. By then you'll look jacked and will probably be 30-40 pounds heavier if you eat enough and eat well. Just start off light, at 115 pounds you'll probably do like 75-85lbs and steadily move up 5lbs at a time while making sure you get enough calories.

I started a similar thread in September of last year and got some good suggestions. I was 5'10" 140lbs and started off at something like 95lbs squat, 115 deadlift, 65lb press, 95lb bench press, etc and am now +25lbs and pushing 195-200 squat and 240lb deadlifts.

Just eat a lot and get easy calories from whole milk and stuff while working out so it turns to muscle and not fat

If this is the case, maybe for you less is more. You're probably burning through way too many calories if you're spending that much time in the gym.

I can't imagine 5'11 115 pounds... When I've hit 120 at 5'5 my face starts caving in like a skeleton and shit (granted this happened because I stopped eating because of wisdom teeth removal complications)

Yeah, it doesn't really matter whether you go to the gym or not. If you want to get big, you have to eat and drink a ton of calories. That's why drinking 1/2 or a full gallon of milk per day will get the job done quick.

The more I think about it the more I think maybe you should see a doctor. 5'11 115 pounds is extreme. It's literally around the weight of a female supermodel. There's no way you could be healthy at that weight.

I mean it's less than 2nd percentile for sure, but saying that there is no way he could be healthy at that weight is false (assuming he is eating right, etc etc). Sounds like he has enough energy to workout and stuff, so I would say its mostly just his genes. Are your parents also light?

He has a BMI of 16.0. You can't really fool BMI on the low side like you can on the high side. He's clinically underweight by a wide margin.

This is a woman with a 16.6 BMI:

I highly doubt he's healthy as he is now, and I really suspect he should be seeking help.

I'm saying that doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. The highest BMI I have ever achieved since starting high school was ~18.5, and I'm fine. My parents and extended family are similar though, which is why I asked.

I'm 5'8" and started lifting when I was 120lbs. I worked my way up to 165lbs, though I scaled back to 150lbs since I'm more comfortable there (running, basketball, etc).

It was a tough journey putting on those 45lbs, but I can say that anytime I plateaued I had to rework my diet. Whatever I was eating, both food selection and portions, would get me to a certain weight and stop.

Listen to everyone here telling you to eat more. When you think you have had too much, keep eating. Then eat some more. You will put on weight, but your stomach will have to get used to it.

OP: Seriously consider GOMAD (or .5 GOMAD) a day. At the very least, you need to be eating more.
