you're underestimating how frequently you use vowels, but you do end up using the home row more extensively.

Here's a great site showing how a Dvorak is better. Seems more well layed out than a qwerty keyboard.

That being said, I love the qwerty keyboard

I thought about switching before however 99.9% of all computers you will use will have the standard qwerty setup, hardly worth the troubles.

Lol one time I tried it out and didn't re-label my keys, I couldn't log back into windows because I didn't know how to type my password

I got good at dvorak for a while but it's such a pain when you have to go back to qwerty or you have to switch between the two. To bad the world started on stupid typewriters and had to go with qwerty in order to slow down people typing so the typewriter could keep up.

No thanks, I am a touch typist (albeit not that fast) on a QWERTY keyboard. Don't need to relearn something else.

Since QWERTY was designed to be inefficient, this must be better...

(Designed to type slow and steady since typewriters would get jammed if you typed too fast ... that's why when you type, you fingers or hands move a hellova lot)
