I stumbled into a newsgroup a year or two ago that was devoted to the band, announcing myself as Muse! I explained that this is my handle on the air as my DJ gig at KALX, 90.7 FM, Berkeley (college radio). I play all kinds of music. I played Muse a time or two on KALX after this. I'd heard of them before, but they weren't on my radar. Yes, they sound pretty good. Complex modern British band with a fairly distinctive male singer, IIRC.

I'm really smelling the scent on this monitor. Interestingly if you do a Google search on "L90D+" right now, the third hit is this very thread.

Could somebody please measure the bezel with a ruler and let me know? It looks nice and thin, but I want to see how it compares with my Planar. On my Planar, from the very edge of the bezel to the first lit pixes is less than 13/16 inches, and that's on all 4 sides. Thanks.

They do have a very distinctive style; and I have yet to find another band that's as good in the same genre. I love the complex tunes and melodies they play, as well as the frequent piano/keyboard notes during the voice breaks. Usually people associate Muse with either Radiohead, or A.F.I, and though I listen to them all, I like Muse by far the most. It's been a year and a half since I started listening to them, and I still listen to them at least once a day if I have access to my computer.

It has disappeared from TigerDirect's site. I'm guessing they sold out, like NewEgg, CompUSA and others. That $369.99 price had "While supplies last" or something like that very prominently displayed under the price. I guess they weren't kidding!

It appears that we have basic economics in action here: supply/demand/price graph. Demand goes up, supply goes down and the price goes up (like at NewEgg, PCgear, and others). I think the best thing to do is wait for Hyundai to be the typical manufacturer and react to the strong demand with overproduction. The price will come back down

I ordered one from TigerDirect yesterday at 2pm CDT and it was on a UPS truck by 6pm. Very impressive and it looks like I may have got one of the last ones a TigerDirect.

For those of you worrying about CompUSA as I was, it turns out it was just a typographical error afterall - I received my L90D+ this morning! CompUSA never even informed me that it was shipped, which is what had me worried the most, but sit tight - the right monitor should be on the way.

I also received mine today from CompUSA! I also ordered one from TigerDirect and that was shipped today. I will now have 3 and can't decide whether or not to keep them all, send one back, or sell it.

I don't notice the twinkling effect. I think they just received a faulty monitor, as several others besides me couldn't find it either. As for the viewing angel, I can read this text perfectly until the viewing angel becomes so large that all the text becomes horizontal The viewing angel vertically up from the monitor isn't so great though, probably the same as other LCD panels.

Looks to me this model is nearly perfect! The only problem left is lifetime since this is a really new model.
Too bad I thought they would send me L90D and cancelled my order.
Hopefully, there will be better deal of L90D+ soon.

I believe that's your standard VGA connection. Also has a DVI connection, so you can use either or both as long as you have a video card with both connectors. I wonder if there are video cards with 3 connections.

The above reivew says it has

And how about the viewing angle of this one?

Thanks.

not surprised it has issues, explains the seemingly good deal on it, just like their cars....second rate

Please, stop making uninformed comments. As most of the posters here agree, there seems to be absolutely no "twinkling" effect in movies. As for the viewing angle, I will be the first to admit that the viewing angle isn't anything to write home about on this monitor. However, it doesn't vary much from standard LCDs, especially of the same price range. And honestly, how often are you going to be working at your computer (or playing games, for that matter) from a greater-than-45-degree viewing angle?

Thus far, this monitor has proven to me to be the best monitor available for a very large market. People looking to buy a first LCD or those gamers who have been worried about ghosting should buy this monitor without a second thought.

I definately would not call this monitor second rate. Right now it can't be beat for gaming. True, it may not satisfy hardcore graphic artists, but for most of the people looking for an overall quality monitor, this is the best priced monitor out. 3 of them only cost about as much as one 21-23 inch monitor. Now I am ready for triple display gaming.

I hope so, 'cause their cars are *really* well made these days! Buddy of mine bought one a year ago and it's *really* nice!

Well I got mine today from TigerDirect. It actually arrived at the Lenexa, KS UPS distribution center (about 1 mile from my house) on Friday night. But since UPS doesn't deliver on weekends....I had to wait until today to get it which was a little frustrating.

I've never used an LCD before, so I'm probably not a good person to comment on ghosting and other issues. But I will say this:

1) I had one bad pixel in the center of the screen. It shines green on a black background, but that's it.

2) The colors are vibrant. The unit comes from the factory with the brightness set at 60%. I had to turn it down to 30% to keep from being blinded.....and turn on a light in the room as well.

3) While the unit does pivot, it doesn't come with any pivot software, so I guess I cannot use this feature until I find pivot software and/or get a new video card (I'm using an ancient RivaTNT card right now).

4) Viewing angles aren't that great, but all that happens from extreme angles is that screen gets dim and yellowish. Since I sit directly in front of my screen, this is a complete non-factor to me.

5) The buttoms on the bottom of the bezel are small. The OSD is basic, but autocolor and autoscreen set up (size) are nice.

6) Having a headphone jack in the LCD is very handy

All in all, I'm very impressed with the unit. Wish I didn't have a bad pixel, but it really isn't a big deal. It is only noticeable on a completely black screen. Maybe it will go away on its own (maybe it's just "stuck"). It wasn't there when I first set everything up, so I guess I can hope.

TigerDirect's service was great and they had the unit shipped within hours of my order. I paid $388 including the shipping, which I'm sure will be on the high end. I have no doubt this unit will drop in price as the supply increases. But for me, time was of the essence as the wife is going to have a baby soon and I'm going to lose my office and be moved to a corner of the family room.......so I had to order now.

Conclusion: I'm very satisfied upon first impressions. After I use this for awhile, I'll give another report.

Best of luck to everyone in their search for the ideal LCD!

Just got an email from Chiefvalue.com that this monitor is back in stock: $379, free shipping, for me additional state tax (being in CA, and they tax you if you're in NJ, PR, TN or CA.) pushing it to $410 or so.

I received my monitor from TigerDirect.com yesterday and was dissapointed, since the other 2 Hyundai L90D+ are great. This one had 4 stuck pixels clustered in the upper center of the screen. I called them and they were very helpful and said I would receive the new one in 3-5 days. Props to TigerDirect if they come through. These are awesome monitors, that's why I bought 3! 2 of them are great for gaming, and I can have the 3rd hooked up to another computer until they release cards with triple display capability to play the newest games. I am not too impressed with Nvidia's SLI and am waiting to see Via's SLI.

I thought tigerdirect was only selling the L90D, the regular not + version which is 25ms. That's the only one I see displayed on their web site.
