Also, a poster some pages back said he was able to return his to TigerDirect with 4 dead pixels, arn't they affiliated with Newegg who only accepts returns for 8 or more dead?

Yes, it IS that good for gaming. I've been completely satisfied with that aspect. TD and egg are different companies. Maybe you're thinking of ChiefValue, and Newegg... those guys are the same company.

depends, are they anything like their cars?
Umm...take a look at Hyundai's quality of ownership and reliability records dude, I think maybe then you would want to take back your dig at their cars.
dude, i think it's interesting you took that as a negative comment
Uh I'm not the only one who did in here, maybe you should be a little more clear on what you are trying to say.
Ebuyer did respond quickly to my enote asking what happened to my confirmation email. They don't know. They think that it was maybe my spam trapping software, conceivable but not likely. In any case, the order is proceeding and it shipped already UPS Ground, free shipping, from Tempe, AZ. I guess it's OK. I know that Newegg has far better Resellerratings, but Newegg says they're only honoring 8 or 8+ dead pixel problems, the same as Hyundai, so I don't know that it matters. I figure I'll take my chances with Hyundai's warranty and save some money over what it would have cost me through Newegg.Originally posted by: Muse

Yeah! Thanks so much for this tip. I cancelled my Newegg order made late Friday. Lucky I ordered so late. Saved $45 by doing that and ordering at ebuyer.com. It said there that my order is complete and that an email confirmation had gone out but I don't see it 10-15 minutes later. Weird.
Edit: My order seems to be proceeding in their system, but I still haven't gotten a confirmation email. I left them an "enote" in there system asking why. In that system it says they'll answer my note (they don't say how, whether it's at their site or by email) within 4 business hours and it states their business hours - MST. Now, PST is Pacific Standard Time. I assume they are "Mountain" time? Where are they, anybody know?

Just picked one up too, too sweet to pass up especially since the price jumped $20 overnight (went back down though). They seem to have great service but had some trouble getting my damn zip code right because the stupid thing would add the digits 2625 at the end of it for no reason at all. Can't wait to game on this thing.

Mine should be delivered tomorrow from ebuyer. I buy most of my stuff from Newegg but the price difference, tax issue and shipping cost make me realize it was a no brainer to leave them for this purchase. Oh well. I'll let you all know how it goes on Day of Defeat.

forkd, we are in the same boat. If we spring a leak, it's time to bail! Just kidding. I get mine tomorrow, too. We can compare notes. Here's hoping for no dead pixels, I guess that's the fingers crossed one. I'm disillusioned with Newegg since hearing (Quine says earlier in this thread) that they edit the customer reviews to the degree where they won't show negative reviews. That's bad sauce.
I just got mine from ebuyer.com via UPS Ground. There's no manual in mine, just the Quickstart Guide, CD, warranty card, cables, the base and the LCD display. Was there supposed to be a manual?Originally posted by: tin10

I really like the fact that this came with the DVI cable, VGA cable, and power cable. Also came with a cd, the manual and what not.

The manual is a PDF on the CD. Pretty basic, but useful enough.
