Can't find the speed of these discs on the site, do you happen to know?

They vary by stock at the store, so there will be a mix of 8x and 16x. Imation uses CMC disc, and their quality has been much better lately.

Office Depot had their own brand for $20 2 weeks ago, but those Riteks were horrible.

BB has Sonys at $5 more this week (maybe it was last week, not sure), which would be good if you pick out the MIJ ones. I personally would get those discs and get better peace of mind, but it all depends on what you need them for. As always, just scan them after burns to see if they turn out right.

I've always liked Imations, but for $5 more, you can get Sony's TYs.

I am not sure about the 16X imation. But for 8X +R, I know you will either get Moser Baer or Ricoh. If Made in India, then it is Moser Baer and Made in Taiwain is Ricoh, both are almost as good as Taiyo Yuden. 16X imation, I dont know who is the maker. But I would stay away from -R because it could be ritek or CMC,
