You might not, but anyone who has a sony digital camera will love this deal. We use a ton of them while doing vinyl graphic workups.

ygreenkitty, thanks for the deal.
After a while these get filled and you don't want to throw them away, but they take space...

Here is a question that would make you reuse your floppy's you have already.

Does anybody have a suggestion on how to copy entire floppy disks (like several hundret of them) on a CD?
I would like to get rid of the floppies and archive them onto a CD.
I tried winzip, but that is too timeconsuming each time.

A utility that would just "take in" the floppies one after the other until the limit (650MB) is reached.
Some directory listing in case you search for a file would be great too.

One of the things I do that might work for your floppies is:

I make a new file on my desktop than do a copy paste from a: to c: keeping two windows open as many times as needed.

I then use my Adaptec program to burn a new CD. As long as I leave it open I can continue to add new files.

It is a simple matter to recycle the files as I do more transfers.

This works well for me. I find it quicker than trying to zip and unzip.

On a similar topic, I cut and paste into a new file when I am working from my flash card--much quicker than trying to work directly from my flash card when it is in the reader--an much faster than downloading through a cable.

Thanks ygreenkitty for posting.

I just ordered a pack. To this day, I STILL have use for floppies for transferring data nearly universally with all the computers I have to deal with. This is despite the fact that I totally hate using them

Cheers,
