Import Windows 7 RAID1 into Windows 10

I have 2x 4GB drives in Windows 7 software RAID1. I would like to import them into Windows 10. Once I do, can I flop back and forth between W7 and W10 or do you have to keep re importing them?

Are you trying to setup dual boot?

Yes, but all manual. I will physically unplug my windows 10 SSD and plug in my W7 ssd each time I will switch.

OK -you can make that much easier with a mobile rack. You simply insert the OS drive you want. That is what I do. I use two mobile racks and just turn on the one I want. You cannot "import" one OS into another.

I knew this would create confusion. I am not concerend about the OS drive at all, or the hassle of swapping. Lets take that out of the equation completely. I only want to know if I import my W7 raid 1 into W10, if I can go back and fourth. Reason I ask if because windows sees it as forign. I have to right click and select "import foreign disk"

In this case, it seems that is the solution for getting a drive off of the foreign category.

As Corkyg mentioned, a Dynamic disk contains information on each disk that includes what computer instance (UUID) owned those disks. Every time you switch OS's, the disks will be considered foreign by the opposite OS. You will have to perform an import of the foreign disks each time, and that will overwrite the owning system's information with whatever OS is performing the import.
