Seems that he died while taking up arms against what he perceived as an abusive and tyrannical government. I can see why that would make him a right wing hero.
Deb Bartley, who said she was a longtime friend of Van Spronsen’s, told the Seattle Times she believes he intended to die by attacking the detention center on Saturday.
“He was ready to end it,” she told the Times. “I think this was a suicide. But then he was able to kind of do it in a way that spoke to his political beliefs. . . . I know he went down there knowing he was going to die.”
Bartley said Van Spronsen left a “manifesto” that she did not share details of but thinks will be used by authorities. She and others got letters from Van Spronsen “saying goodbye,” she said.
This is more directed at the (lack of) reporting by the mainstream media than what this martyr did. Imagine the media coverage if a Proud Boy had committed a similar act.

Well, first, the incident was covered by numerous mainstream news outlets, in the US and abroad. It's just not sensationalized like it is in the right-wing propaganda rags you read... and I know you read them, since you just linked to a video pushing the long-disproven "#WalkAway" lie.
Second, and this is the main thing, right wing violence is much more prevalent in Trump's America. Racists feel empowered by Trump, whether they're Proud Boys or old-fashioned neo-Nazis; Trump's anti-free-press views have led to serious threats and violence against media personalities. I'm not condoning unprovoked violence regardless of who's behind it, but the tangible evidence points to one side being the main problem, and it ain't the left.
The 'hard truth' is that RWNJ propaganda outlets are always telling their viewers that highly-publicized events are being ignored by 'mainstream media.'This is more directed at the (lack of) reporting by the mainstream media than what this martyr did. Imagine the media coverage if a Proud Boy had committed a similar act.

Obviously, none of these are considered mainstream media..

Ignored, I tell you!
Do you mean computer system? If so, I know I couldn't tell you what I had. I could narrow it down to intel or AMD.So what system did you have back in 2000? Should be an easy question for a member with a 1999 join date.
Nah. Ornery is one of our originals, and his politics are, well, what they are.The OP is just another hacked account.
So some alt-white guy trying to kill a massive amount of brown skinned people with fire is a hero?
Lol. Go do it yourself pussy.
Agreed. This guy was a self described member of a far-left antifa militia, the type of person I’ve been assured repeatedly doesn’t exist.Ok guys, stop this type of shit and fucking learn before you spout off. Now, maybe this is some elaborate right wing thing to portray radical leftists as anarchists and justifying their similar right wing authoritarianism to combat it, or maybe its them attempting to subvert people into their radical gun nut "down with the government" Libertarian idiocy by trying to get Leftists onboard with them by celebrating this guy for that even though he otherwise has polar opposite political views than them.
This guy was a far left person. He wasn't trying to kill the brown people, he seemingly thought he was going to free them or something. Mostly he just seemed like he wanted to die and thought his actions here somehow would benefit those people when it wouldn't at all and in fact likely is going to lead to this being cited as an example of leftist extremism that right wingers have been desperate to point to in order to justify their own extremism.
You don't see those posts because their existence doesn't fit your narrative.Agreed. This guy was a self described member of a far-left antifa militia, the type of person I’ve been assured repeatedly doesn’t exist.
He also apparently dabbled in spousal abuse. It seems all these militia types have a common demoninator of unhinged anger looking for a target.
This thread is also unsurprisingly quiet. Don’t see Democrats rushing to condemn an act of terrorism.
Good. I’m glad he is dead.
I saw @JSt0rm’s post. Did you happen to see his follow-up? What narrative does that support? You don't see those posts because their existence doesn't fit your narrative.

Link to me Tweets of any Democrat Senator or Presidential candidate condemning the attack.
Guess you can’t. BothSidesDoItLink to me Tweets from Trump or any Republican Senator or Presidential candidate condemning any of the many attacks committed by right wing extremists.
This is the only appropriate answerI strongly condemn this and any other act of unwarranted violence.
Good opportunity then for Democrat politicians to prove they are not partisan hypocrites. However, I also condemn hypocrisy too. Especially partisan hypocrisy.
