any hint as to where to get it from ? that would sweeten up the deal...and make me jump on these.

EDIT: thanks for the coupon. Comes out to ~$70.xx shipped to CA. Much hotter than justdeals.net deal which was coming out to $80.xx for CA (tax).

amazon has the same speakers (Brand new though) for $115 but no free shipping (~$150 with shipping)...so these are roughtly half the cost when compared to new ones.

Mostly all stores are OOS of these speakers.

Sure. Any deals site would have it. The one in my sig has it. Any number of ones you hear on this forum would have it.

Bump because shipping is only a buck for the whole order and if you can get the $7 off $70 you will really make out big time!

Thanks for the feedback moochadime & DJfuji.

Here's my experience:
I bought a set from justdeals.com web site on the 8th for $73.99 shipped via UPS ground. They arrived last night, the 18th. Not bad considering they were shipped from CA to ME. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the box was, 43 lbs. Inside the outer box was a beat up retail box that had been sealed with "Inspected by Best Buy" tape. Inside, the speakers were individually wrapped in plastic. I looked them over and couldn't find any visible flaws. They looked brand new. As was previously mentioned, there was no documentation provided. No biggy cause all Logitech sends is a quick set-up guide now adays see here. I hooked the speakers up to my computer via an old SB Live card. I had to fiddle with the settings a bit to get sound out of the rears. After it was set, I qued up Loco by Coal Chamber, and let her rip. These speakers are amazing. I couldn't stop grinning. The 188W subwoofer has tons of bass, and the 53W satellites are no slouch. You can FEEL the sound vibrate through you. Holy sneakers. I can't set the volume over 2/3 without hurting my ears. For normal listening, I set the bass to 1/2 and the volume to 1/4. It looks to me like the Z-560 subwoofer has the same specs as for the Z-680. The Z-680 will give you a center channel and a few more watts per satellite, but runs for $236 shipped from newegg.com. As far as value, especially if you're primarily a gamer, I don't see how you can beat this deal. There's always a risk with refurbs, but I had no problems. I've provided some reviews below for more info. Hope this helps.

I'm jealous! UPS came by but no one was home (I bought from justdeals too). I'll have it tested by tomorrow night for sure then I'll add to the observations.

now people can see how happy I was when I got mine and I too had a grin from ear to ear. It is trully amazing that with these, if you just have it up a smidge, the bass is still there and they sound astounding. I only get this excited myself when I get such a great deal and these to me was well worth the money and then some that I had to give my piece of mind. I do not miss a center channel and I actually paid less for mine . I found mine on ebay, the company I bought mine from I paid $65 shipped from messed up and sent me a non working Promedia 5.1. I was able to trade thoes for the ones I was to get which was the Z560's. Before I traded I got the promedias to sort of work. The sub worked but the sats output from the sub did not. I split the audio from my sound card and ran the sub directly off it and hooked the speakers to my old altec lansings set. It sounded good but I was dissapointed with the sub. At full blast on the altec I had to turn the sub down because it was "farting out". When I got the Z560s I hooked them up and I played Sir mix alot baby got back and I had it all the way up WITH the bass all the way up and it took every bit without having to turn the sub down nor did the sub ever "fart out". I was sold right there. The highs were crisp, btw if you take the covers off they sound even better, and the bass no words can really explain untill you get your hands on one. For me all thoes compliants on these saying the sub sounded muddy and they dont have higs are smoking some crack or something is wrong. If that was true in any way they would never of been stamped THX and I have a set so I know different. I used to build HT systems, I have owned quite a few HT systems over the last 15+ years and I can trully say these rival anything I have ever had or set up for some one. I canot believe what is being reproduced through such litle speakers it just boggles the mind. Now I cant say these would kill a high end Bose or Onkyo HT set up but for my pocket book I would buy the new Z5500 with the decoders built in and used them in place of a lower end HT. Heck I would probably use these as a great small setup off the tv if I couldnt afford the Z5500's. A serious upgrade from the lousy tv speakers for sure

I trully do not mean to brag or sound like I work ffor the company or am getting paid for writng this out BUT I am a consumer that likes to get what he pays for and YES I get excited when one or two comes around that I feel no one can pass up and just have to have. And these are trully a steal for what you get.

As for the diff between referb and reconditioned the guy above makes the point. Referbs come in, get pluged in, they work, they are called referb after they get cleaned. Obviously his were a return based on the best buy sticker all over it.

As for reconditioned they are suposed to be sent back to the factory and the techs go through them and repair what is needed and checked out. You are suposed to get back a factory fresh unit. I would take reconditioned over a referb any day if given the chance.

I have a the klipsch 4.1 speakers. How do these compare? My sub is blown on the klipsch. I can send it back to klipsch for $50 and the cost of my shipping and they will repair them for me. Or for about the same price I can get some of these. The thing is that i know logitech does not repair these or fix them if something ever goes wrong with them. You can not even pay for repair. My father currently has a problem with his. Of course you still would have the satelites that you could do someting with.

Read the 3dsoundserge review afew posts up. They pit the Z560's against the Promedias 4.1's and others. They basicaly said that these are on par and in some cases better. But need to read the review and see if it is something that you would like.

WowWow...just got these speakers in the evening today..just set them up and all i can say is WOW.....what a difference between these and those cheap Logitech Z-640s....even though these are 4.1..these are mindblowing....

the sub is huge...made to make special room for it to keep.......and since i live in an apartment, i cant turn up the volume more the 1/10th....now i am worried that i might get some warnings for loud music...thanks everyone for making me purchase these.

btw, i purchased them from overstock, and they came in a white box but all the speakers were shrink wrapped including all wires and the sub. So, prolly i got a "reconditioned" unit from factory. No manuals though but thats not a biggie....but the speakers look like brand new but i know that these are repaired b/c of white box and all speakers, sub and cables properly shrink wrapped.

Also, i looked at the ship from address and the address matches the "justdeals.net" address even though i ordered these from overstock. So prolly all these speakers are coming from justdeals.net only. Also, since justdeals in located in Hayward, CA (SF Bay area) and Logitech RMA center is also located in SF Bay Area (i think Fremont - b/c i had to RMA my Z-640 set earlier), i am thinking that most of these speakers are coming directly from Logitech....maybe justdeals has a special arrangement with Logitech to pick them from their warehouse themselves (Hayward to Fremont is less than 10 min drive here)..

but anyways...great speakers...loving them so far....but i cant turn up the volume since in an apartment.

Just wondering as to what will be the reaction of the complex will be if i am playing "America's army" game at "FULL VOLUME" in the middle of the night....that would be fun...might try that over the weekend...(nah..i dont want to get kicked out on Monday morning )
