THe box was pretty thrashed up, but the speakers seem fine and litterly blow away my old 640zs I had... @!!

We have one that has already fallen to the curse of the z-560 fuse! I told you that you would rue the day!..... sorry. I share your pain, EF9. Try your best to get a new set, but remember that it's only a matter of time. You would be better off in the long run spending a little more money and getting a receiver and powering the sat's through them. That's what I have been forced to do, and it's not all that bad. Now I just need a new sub, and I will be as good as new. Good luck, everyone.

I am so pissed off. I finally got my set and it was packaged perfectly, in the retail box even. I pulled it out and played orbital's "way out", which sounded great. After that I loaded radiohead's 2+2=5 and when it got the bassy part I heard a loud "Bzzt" sound and a burning smell came from the subwoofer. I hate my life

I am taking justdeals off the list guys. I have never bought anything from them and from looks of it its not all that great. I hate seeing people get taken and I can sit here and allow them to sell crapy items even though they are the cheapest.

Unless there are alot of you that bought from justdeals and havent spoken up about your dealings with them please let us know! But for now Im sticking with oerstock because I have delt with them on shipping and returns and have always done a great job for me.

Okay it's been 2 days. Day 1 was great, except at night I had to push the volume button in or else left rear would pop and crack at crazy volume levels. Still worked for the most part. Day 2, I turn the speakers on and everything sounds like it's exploding. Messing with the volume knob might stabilize it for a bit, but it's going to blow my eardrums out. Contacting Justdeals now for a return.

Hey guys, i am happy to read so many people satisfied w/ their speakers. I got mine at justdeals.com and it actually came in the original box, but the box itself was not in very good condition. The speakers were shrink wrapped.

As of right now, i only have 2 speakers hooked up. Limited deskspace. if i do hook up the 2 other speakers.. would i be able to listen to music on 4 of the speakers? With my yamaha set, i couldn't listen to music w/ 4 speakers.

that's exactly what happened to me..it suddenly blarred a loud buzz right? piece of crap recond/refurb...recrap.

If you have a 2 channel output if you hook up the other two and click the matrix button on you will get better the dolby prologic sound from all 4. Great for movies btw and music.

When I emailed justdeals.com to rma the speakers for a refund. I asked them to either pay for the return shipping or waive the restocking fee and explained if I have to pay for shipping and get charged a restocking fee, that both put together would be almost the amount I paid for them. So, they said wait 1-2 business days for them to send the prepaid label. Now I just have to wait and see if they really send me the prepaid label!

I have only had to return something so far to overstock and newegg and on both accounts they paid for or paid back my shipping charges. Are you saying that justdeals does not do that? If so that trully does suck big time.

I dont know if they will pay/refund the shipping charges? I haven't requested an rma yet but when I do, I will ask if they will cover/refund the shipping charges and I will post if they do or dont. I hope they do, but if they dont then I will be pretty pissed but it's my fault for buying a refurb item.

actually, thats one reason i have done this b/c of your situation exactly - you get sent a set that doesn't work then have to foot a serious shipping bill - no way on this heavy @ss setup.

good luck and post back if they do the right thing and cover shipping since they obviously weren't in good working condition when they left the warehouse.

My box was also very screwed up. The box they shipped it in was just fine though.

Everything is working perfectly so far. This item looks like a "hit or miss" which is probably why Logitech stopped production, and explains why there are so many refurbished systems to sell.

What do you mean by the cabling is loose? If you think it's just the cable, just go to radio shack and buy some. It will be much cheaper than to cost to ship them back.

I order from justdeal... maybe i'm just lucky hearing all these horror story but my speaker came in so new I was surprised!! my gf actually thought it was story bought... neways all 4 speaker works and they are in mint condition. when the box got shipped here it wasn't banged up at all, just what I expect

I just got my set in from justdeals today. i've orders 2 keyboard mouse combos before and they worked out well so i figured these would too. anyways, i get them in and plug them in. the sub sounds great but the left front speaker doesn't work no matter what i try. I called justdeals and the guy said that he would have a new sub shipped out to me on monday and that i would not have to ship back the old sub. hopefully i'll end up with a good sub.

wow i just had to rma my speakers to justdelas as well the right fron channel was very low it wasnt the speakers cuz i tried other speaker on the same channel and got the same problem then it started making some sort of heart beat noise everynow and then?? i had to pay $15 for shipping tho =( will they refund my shipping i wonder? i will try to do that!!!

I got my unit today $70 shipped from overstock.com. Overstock is cheaper for californians since there is no tax. It came in a white box with all the pieces inside, all components are wrapped in plastic.

Has anyone inspected all the satellite speakers? I removed the speaker cover of each satellite and found one of the speakers have a small fold on the vibrating material. I tested the speakers using CD audio and did not notice any sound distortion with the abnormal speaker. I dont want the hassle of returning this one and get another set with same or more problems so I guess I am sticking with this one.

Also I noticed that the fader conrol of the control console only fades the rear speakers, is this normal or is my controller broken? As far as I know, fader is suppose to fade out either the front or rear, not just the rear.

btw, the sub is damn loud. It sounds like the sub is too powerful for the satellite speakers. Anyway, this set is much better than the Bose Mediamate I just bought.

That is the way the fader is supposed to be so you can adjust the level with how far or close the rear speakers are to you head. I honestly cant think of why you would want to cut the fronts speakers down or off and run the backs by themselves. And as for the sats you mean remove the back cover off the seaker and thats where there is a fold? Im kinda lost on that one there. All I know is that mine sounds great and that plug I actually looked at that thing (looking for the fold) I thought it was like a hollow cone off the middle. That sucker is solid and not flimsy at all, hit someone over the head with it and it would most likely go through and leave a nice hole or hell use it as a hammer in a pinch

What I meant was that there seems to be something loose inside of that box, I am guessing it is the cable that runs into it from the computer. I am hoping they allow me just to return the control box instead of the entire package, but either way, they will pay for shipping both ways.

I dont know what that material connected to the cone is but one my of satallite speakers have a small depression near the cone unlike the three other speakers that have a smooth and flat vibrating material attached around the cone.
