Their shiping is $2.95 on your entire order. you can buy a bed set, a hugh big screen, couches, and the speakers and still the shipping would still be $2.95

i actually meant reviews from those who ordered these refurbs....as to if there are any problems with them ? I am thinking of getting one from justdeals. Did overstock ones come in white box or logitech box ?

Overstock speakers were reconditioned and the ones from justdeals are refurbished. They both would of come in non retail boxes just the ones from overstock are suposedly reconditioned from the factory and the ones from justdeal may or may not of been.

Mine came in the retail box, and moochadime, they are just great. Retail price at Fry's is $199.

NO KIDDING! Their site said it was to come in a non retail box. You got lucky then. I just love mine. When the wife and kids leave on saturday to go shopping I do nothing for 4 hours but piss the neighbors off with mine

Update 10/13 - Got my speaks today and hooked them up. They came in a retail box w/ brown box on the outside. The retail box had an RMA # and was heavily taped. The important part--the inside everything looks brand new and sounds awesome. Great upgrade from my POS altec lansing non-surround "quadrophonic" speakers w/ no bass at all. These can rattle the french doors on my office! Im happy and that was $73 well spent.

Got my speakers today. Retail box(with Best Buy tape on it) shipped in a brown box. Inside everything looked new until I unpacked the sub. A few smudges of white on it that came off with a brush of the fingers so it still looks new.

Plugged them up and turned them on, my tv computer has knocking sound just like my PC Gotta get those back speakers wired up when I get back home.

Overstock. I'd rather buy from Overstock than Justdeals. I never liked their inflated shipping costs except of course, now they have free shipping on higher cost items

So how would these compare to the z-640 5.1 speakers at amazon? generally higher model number == better, but due to the price difference and my ignorance I'm confused and having trouble understanding the differences in features?

IMO you will loose the center channel but you will gain bass controll on the volume controler instead of the rear of the sub, no blinding blue led, about 300 more total rms watts for earth shattering bass and one loud mofo. This again is IMO but if it were me and because I own a set of Z560s I wont get anything else unless I can aford to get the new logitech Z5500's.

My set from Overstock came today in a big ol' brown box. Looks like UPS tossed it around pretty good. My sattelites came out with the leg mount bent in on two of them. Nothing major since I just bent them back - cosmetics. Fired them up and holy smoke loud big a$$ sound batman!!!

Mines came in exceptionally well care. The only spot where I noticed it was dirty was the bottom of the box.

So then I wasnt exagerating when I said I piss my neighbors off then. These are a loud mofo set of speakers for the money and you can crank them all the way up without a crackle and the bass knocking stuff off walls.
