HawkeyeNJ is certainly missed. I hope he is in a better place in his life...or afterlife.

Out of curiousity, how did we (who did) determine that out of the three thousand wonderful people who were killed, that HawkeyeNJ might be William Cashman? Marvelous work by someone, especially if, in fact, it is correct. I find it hard to believe that if he was as involved in the board as HawkeyeNJ was that there would be no mention in anything about this "hobby" as some might call it.

Whether or not he died in 9-11 is not so important. I have a feeling that he would
have posted right up until 9-11 if so.

From his habits, its quite easy to deduct that he is gone now. He is and will be truly
missed. I used to talk with him a lot about the idealwiz site and all. He used to
correspond a lot with the user "rivo" (who ran idealwiz). Perhaps rivo has some hints
that can help track him down.

Hi,
I remeber Hawakeye's threads too and he was a really nice guy, even thought I barely visit Anandtech I do miss him because he was the guy that lived in my area.

Here is what I think.

I live in Bergen County, it's a pretty big county and people often say north bergen meaning north jersey bergen county or further north in bergen county.

Parmus and Ramsy are very close no more then 10-15 miles apart. For me to Ramsy is 11 miles and I'm very close to Parmus i'm in Fair Lawn. I wonder why he never signed his messages with his real name?
