Take a look at all the car posts in the Off-Topic. Wow. I think we need a Cars Forum so that we can post car stuff in there and leave Off-Topic to real off topic stuff.
I'm not sure what they'll think and even though I'm not a gearhead I'd so thank you. It gets tiring having to wade through all the car-related articles.
Yeah it'd be nice to have a separate forum for NFS4 and the other car freaks to live in :Q
*/me runs away*
However I think in the spirit of Anandtech, the forum categories should be limited to relating to hardware and computers and everything else as Off-Topic from that. It's meant to be a hardcore geek board and should be kept that way.

It's been suggested many times, and every time, a Mod says it ain't gonna happen. Look at the current forums: CPUs, Motherboards, Networking, Software... I think "Cars" would be a bit out of place.
But it really wouldnt be. You can mod cars with computer parts just as easy as you can a case. And computer geeks usually have really good jobs and can afford great cars. Also take a look at the HardForum. It doesnt look out of place to have a Car forum there.
This is the only forum I hang out in 95% of the time. There's no way I'd venture into an Automotive forum here. I don't mind the car topics at all. I do mind repost type topics of any kind, especially Xbox/PS2/Cube topics etc. Just don't see that kind of stupid redundancy regarding cars. Says a lot about our 'car folks', eh?
Ornery, you have a very good point. I suppose it would be foolish and copying to put a Car forum. Sorry I brought it up guys. I was wrong. I like AT the way it is.
