Dually, you need to buy yourself a clue, spin the wheel and solve the puzzle before commenting there.

Male's sexual prime hits it's highest at about 18-21 and then it shoots down very fast from there.

Female's sexual prime hits at about 35, plateaus for about 5 years and then sloooowly goes down hill from there

Waiting for a couple years to when his wife hits her prime <---- Aceman

The thread was about older women keeping younger guys in line and then someone sort of suggested that they turn him on. We are talking about 16-26 year old guys fantasizing about 40+ women. That is what I consider disgusting.

The board is not populated by all 16-26 year olds.

Remember Dually, the world revolves around the Sun, not you.

I'll bet we could name a ton of 40+ women that by their looks are real turn ons. Still that was not the focus of this thread.

Is your point that I can't express my view when everyone else can?

No feel free too. Just don't be to dismayed when others express their view..about you. If you have thick skin it shouldn't be a big deal.

You have a point Red.

"Now that I'm in a totally bummed out mood I wish the mods would lock this thread and pull it"

Uhmmm . . . so suddenly when one expresses a dissenting opinion, the thread must be locked?
Perhaps that's the point the dissenter is making? Perhaps the point is that we shouldn't have to operate by a "liked" persons by a select who decide what's acceptable and not on the basis of popularity or jumping on the bandwagon?

I don't see the need for the drama, in my opinion of course. If the dissenting opinion is unfounded, then disregard it. There's nothing to be afraid of or worried about. I haven't particularly witnessed argument against the persons by the dissenters. Ironically, it's much the opposite occurring here.

Dual, don't be daunted and do stick with your opinion. Perhaps if Single Man paused for a moment to see the inferences of his statement, he would be able to discern the absurdity of his implied statement.

Last I checked young women were just as capable if not better at keeping things going right. Sadly, most I can think of about older women in this context is their idle nature and rather igniting hostility by engaging in rumour-mongering (also known as gossipping). I do not endorse it and will not be praising anyone who engages in such activity.

I'm afraid young women do much better. Now, before you jump to conclusions: I respect older women, affording them as much respect as they afford me. What I do not accept and who I will not afford much respect is any older woman or anyone for that matter of any sex who does not carry with him or her the wisdom we are told goes with age.

Again, I am not dissing older women or older people for that matter. But I refuse to accept the notion that older means wiser automatically or that older means one should not be subjected to inspection too.

Once again, this is my expressed opinion, which I never did and do not claim is some divine knowledge or authority. By reading my opinion, you agree it is voluntary--not any form of coercion that you read it or agree with it.

The original poster to this thread expressed his intent to me via pm as to why he started this thread. I didn't ask for this thread to be started, I suggested that it be locked because a simple post of appreciation for several very nice people has turned into a humilating, degrading toilet,as far from Signalman's intent as you can get. It's not worthy of responding to any further and please a note to my friends here, you got nice things to say to me,please do it via pm or email

Coming from a "younger women" that comment seems rather self serving and "catty"

<< I'm afraid young women do much better. Now, before you jump to conclusions: I respect older women, affording them as much respect as they afford me. Thankfully you are here to demonstrate for all of us how not to be condenscending and arrogant.

<< Again, I am not dissing older women or older people for that matter >>

Hmm I guess were are not to believe our lying eyes then.

Well in that case I take back all I said above You almost showed some humility with that last sentence..almost.

Perhaps it would have been better and wiser if the original poster sent it in private and left it at that?

That would be nice. If someone honestly appreciates another person, perhaps he should take his time and just write in private. Isn't that very rewarding and sufficient?

I can understand appreciating someone or people enough to want to bring it to the attention of the rest, but doing so and feeling compelled to bring it to the public in a manner that assumes the immaturity of, stupidity of or lack thereof wisdom in younger women is preposterous and absolutely impudent.

If he nonetheless chose to post it publicly, could not he have simply written something like, "I want to thank the following women of AT: <insert names> for their <insert qualities>. I can certainly speak for myself and a few that we have learned a lot from you (used in plural term). You keep us in check and we appreciate it."

Would not something like that be decent, somewhat universal, less snobbish and not petty in nature?

Red Dawn, it's all good! It's always refreshing to see you be nice. It also helps with my perception of older folks, here at least. I've got your New Year resolution hostage . . . reminder! :Q Hehehe! Thanks, Red Dawn.

Which of course tends to go entirely against the point of a MESSAGE BOARD.

Boy talk about reading between the lines. Slap me silly and call me Lawrence of Arabia but I never got the impression from the original post or those following that anybody was saying that younger women lacked wisdom or were less intelligent than women in their 40's. What it did say to me was that there are some guys here who really haven't had that much interaction with women in their 40's as peers instead of authority figures and that they appreciated the more mature womens perspective.

I for one think its great this thread was started! Shows me that even though I may age, there are men who will always respect me for myself, and who I am, whether I am 20 or 50. And I think thats a pretty nice message, I am sorry so many have a problem with and or feel threatened by it.

And for the guys who say older women are gross? Thats just cause you know you couldn't handle them, they would eat you alive.

And as for older women being gossipers? Where did that come from. I can tell you right now, all my lady friends my own age gossip much more than any woman I have ever talked to on here. And they are all only in their 20's. You claim to be upset because someone insinuates younger women cannot be as intelligent as older women, well you think saying that is any better? And I am not worried about any of the guys here judging my brains or lack thereof compared to any of the other women based on age, they make that judgement on how I come across.

Just remember GF, those guys are the same ones that in 15 years will have a belly so big that they can't pull their pants up high enough resulting in their butt crack showing every damn time they fix the kitchen sink and then turn around and wonder why their 40 year old wife won't bump uglies with them.

luvly, where in this thread did signalman ever say older woman are more intelligent then younger woman?

I think what he meant is that forty something woman have more experience when it comes to controlling children because they have experienced raising a child. So, knowing how most men are afraid of their mothers or feel close to them, the mother figure forty something woman have helps them to somewhat keep us geeks in control. I might not agree with that 100%, but that the way I see it.
