No, I'm not going to rant on gun control..

I see shocking similarities between the shooter's diaries and ATOT posts, including posts by myself when I was single and lonely...

Instead of letting your fear of rejection and your lack of intimacy concentrate into a bitter rage against women, do this my friends:

GO UGLY EARLY

I don't mean this to be insulting at all to women, or those who lost anyone during this tragedy. I think we, as american men, only consider our possible mates to be Jessica Alba clones. It's not going to happen. If you continue to base your ideals of women on porn you will continue to grow bitter and will not get laid, or make a meaningful connection. There are millions of single women out there - millions of smart, charming, lovely people who you guys don't even consider! Next time you go to a party seek out one of them. Lower your bullshit standards and make a connection with the frumpy girl who eats too much because she's just as alone as you are.. Get the intimacy we all need as humans, fall in love, and don't be angry!

Here's the thing - I'm all for people falling in love based on personalities but here's the kicker.

The positives of dating a fatty, even if you're superficial:
1. I've seen it many times - fatty girls in relationships get real happy like, and get un-fatty, often turning into knock outs...

2. You're building your inter-personal skills, even if things don't work out. Not only do you lose your virginity, FINALLY, but you learn how to talk to women.

3. You become a person who gives other people a chance, and that's good for your soul!

4. Fattys are loyal

This is something I've been trying to tell guys for a long time. Quit looking at porn for what a perfect woman should look like. Of the entire female population .1% have the porn star bod. Meaning you have to be one of the smartest, richest, and sexiest guys to even have a chance. Most people I know would consider this girl to be plain and unattractive. I disagree.

Hah- "knock out" is hyperbole, but when I was in high school I dated a girl who was way out of my league (or so I thought since I was a kid). When she went away for band camp I literally spent every night thinking that she was screwing some thin, buff dude, so I ended up working out every day and eating right just to surprise her when she came back - I lost 30 pounds, because I had to deserve my girlfriend!

Of course, I gained that weight back and then some when we broke up. But it's ok, I'm married now

Unrealistic standards and expectations, is a primary reason why so many men struggle with romance and/or achieving intimate relationships with women.

BTW, one of the best ways to become desirable to more women, is to already have one. When I was young and naive, I thought being with my girl was like a giant red X over me in other womens' vision. I had no idea it was more often a bullseye target.
