This is one reason I like driving classic cars. Here in TX all you have to do to legally have only a rear plate is have a car older that 25 years that is registered with and original to car year dealer tag. Dealer tags were only issued as a single plate and since no second one exists for the front you are not required to have one. I have on on my 57 T-Bird and several 1966 ones also, even thought it is not a big deal on the Mustangs as they have a provision for the front plate and it does not look bad but a front plate on the T-Bird looks nasty.

I still think the OP is an idiot. Not for not having a license plate installed. But for complaining about it here. OP is obviously okay with paying fines for what he thinks makes his car look better. So why complain about it here... makes no sense..

Normally on any other car I would just put in the front plate, but on an honda S2k, I actually understand. The front plate looks so out of place on that car that I wouldn't put it on either.
