No you're not. I am pro second amendment but we need more restrictions and way deeper background checks.
By gun nutter I mean those that want guns of all types without restrictions.
Probably. They're going to get what they wished for.Isn't that what the State of Texas is working towards and their end game goal?
This ^^^Hate to disagree with the OP but this was completely comprehensible. Coming from the state that just passed laws allowing people to carry without permits or training.
If the Sandy Hook slaughter of 20 six and seven year old's doesn't move Republicans nothing will except the slaughter of their own families.
This is what the parents voted for. Thoughts and prayers go out to the bullets lost in this massacre, they didn’t ask to kill children, people did.
Honestly sounds like you're just looking for a fight. In the other threads talking about firearms and/or shootings, there is a lot of people who say that it is impossible to safely own and operate a firearm.
If anyone anywhere who isn't calling for the immediate seizure of 400+ million guns is a "gun nutter" then I guess I am one now and would definitely respond to defend the stance when called out for it.
As a short response to this specific instance, yet again all this is, is a symptom of the collapse of human society - and specifically the US as a relatively "free" society that has been arming up for going on 250 years now. Saying that all guns should be confiscated tomorrow isn't going to help anything, for a myriad of reasons, although it might make someone feel better after saying it.
This is so true. There will be more effort put into saving 2nd amendment rights than will be put into treating the injured, dealing with the survivors, burying the dead, investigating the crime, etc.The gun is always the most important thing to protect after a shooting.
We have all kinds of ability but we can’t tap them because we won’t let anybody tell us what the problem really is. We have to blame guns and gun supporters because the the only way we will let go of the phony rewards to our pathetic egos given by winning at completion can’t be paired even from our cold dead hands. All those dead children is the price we happily pay by blaming guns rather than the SYSTEM.As said in the other thread, fuck this country and our inability to give a shit to any degree necessary to do anything about murdered kids.
Holy shit that's some bizarre mental gymnastics.not my words but certainly my sentiment:
"Same folks who regularly say it’s better for a poor person to not even be born, and to be aborted instead, now want to claim they care about the death of largely poor children. Not today, you ghouls, you’re not going to stand on top of dead children today or any day."
You can shove your sentiment up your fucking ass where it belongs, you fucker.not my words but certainly my sentiment:

The US has had 57 times as many school shootings as the other major industrialized nations combined
Look at this sickening statistic and that's only as of 2018
School shootings in the US compared with the rest of the world | CNN

He took my earlier post that said "no chicken-shit gun nutter has yet to reply" as a challenge.Holy shit that's some bizarre mental gymnastics.
What if all of these problems arise from a sense of entitlement and ego, the loss of phony pride that is there as a substitute for real rely respect?Nothing is going to be done, and if we as a country really wanted to do something how would be go about it? The cat has been out of the bag for decades. There are just too many guns, and we have too many soft targets. We would have to give up our rights for a chance at some kind of protection fro the government. And, that could lead to an erosion on our rights. The mental health issues in the country are off the radar. Seriously, have you noticed the attitude of many of the people today? Angry. Hateful. Depressed. Its like a plague. We don't have the resources to combat that. Its going to get worse as the economy gets bad. As more people fall into poverty, I expect more of this stuff to take place.
Its a sad day in America, and actions like this school shooting has become normalized, which is the first step to a crumbling immoral society where people have lost hope.

You are not disagreeing with me. You are disagreeing with Greg Abbott.Hate to disagree with the OP but this was completely comprehensible. Coming from the state that just passed laws allowing people to carry without permits or training.
Texans can now openly carry guns in public without a permit or training. Police say the new law makes it harder to do their jobs - CNN
If the Sandy Hook slaughter of 20 six and seven year old's doesn't move Republicans nothing will, except the slaughter of their own families. Remember when Ronald and Nancy Regan became gun control advocates when someone tried to kill ole' Ronnie
North Carolina Senator and top NRA gun welfare queen Thom Tillis is warning against "knee jerk reactions" by Democrats--seemingly oblivious that Sandy Hook was almost a decade ago and nothing meaningful (outside of Connecticut) has changed.
