Common sense dictates that airports and air travel is not something to fool with. Using words like bomb, die, death, and the such tend to scare passengers. I'm surprised he got pass security wearing this shirt (assuming he was wearing it and/or it wasn't covered by a jacket). I have not seen this movie and someone wearing this T-shirt would have made me wonder if this guy was sane or not. I agree with the passengers and would have complained to security for even letting this guy on board.

It's a borderline thing I guess, the movie is old enough that some people might not get the reference.

However if it was more obviously referencing a movie. Such has having Inigo Montoya on the front with the quote and the title of the movie it would be a lot more clear.

However, upon being questioned about more oblique movie reference from the name tag t-shirt and explaining it... I think it's rather unreasonable to be accosted by a flight attendant about it.

Admittedly the name-tag shirt is cooler than a hypothetical one with the title of the movie on it.
