How well does this mouse work in FPS games? I've never tried a wireless mouse for gaming before. Heck, I'm using a cheap Dell USB optical right now, so I can't really say I've ever used a decent mouse in my life!

Glad you all like the deal! I had no problems doing small gaming(shooters and RTS like starcraft) with the mx revolution the mouse that preceded it. For that other post somone linked to, alot of the times if your gaming make sure you have a good mousepad /surface to game on, it will also depend on interferace and the distance between the microusb transmitter/receiver and the mouse, as well as interferance. So for gaming wireless mice have a lot of other factors to take into account. I think it would work just fine for gaming and for 30 dollars its a steal. Enjoy!

i have the mx3200 mouse/keyboard. i use my mx1000 mouse instead of the mouse that came with combo. works just fine. but just a keyboard reciever will only work with a keyboard. you will need a combo reciever for both to work.
