I wanted to see a Chargers vs Colts game...

Manning, Peyton salary cap is $ 8,435,186
Brady, Tom salary cap is $ 8,427,930

brady has never taken a paycut. his extension was 6 years 60 million and mannings was 7 years 99 million. compartively he took less money. plus manning makes $10 mil+ with his various sponsorship deals. (sprint, mastercard, gatorade, etc).

patriots dont pay recievers money and thats why they have more room in the cap space.

The pats are a whole different team in the playoffs.

Having said that, when I saw Indy play I said it then and I'll say it now:

* > Indy. Mark it.

No.

I think this game will revert to the Colts we're used to seeing - Peyton puts up some big numbers, the defense lets up some big numbers. It will be a good one.

This is a tough game to pick, so I'll go with Indy just because I would like to see them go to the SuperBowl

I think the whole talk of the colts not being able to do this and that, the player feed off that and show up and play.

KC -> LJ will run all over them.

Ravens -> Lewis will run over them and the Defense will shut them down.(somewhat true, Peyton never really got going and was picked twice)

yea...he got picked twice against the best defense out there IMO. He had very successful drives including one inside his own 2 yard line that went for a field goal against that "best defense around"

I predict the Patriots win in another tight game.

i honestly think the colts are happy to see Brady. We have something to prove and it will be a handing of the torch hopefully!

It will make me extremely happy if the Colts can put up a good game and pull the W against them. I think this is a bigger challenge for Peyton than the Super Bowl will be :x

Indys defense cant handle it.

Edit: Id much rather Indy won.

Indy D proved pretty strong against Baltimore O...

granted baltimore O isn't exactly as strong as NE O

Look at the last meeting between Indy and NE

Ill be rooting for Indy, but i really dont see it.

Last meeting was a 27-20 Indy win @NE. Not sure what you mean.

It's Indy's time. Everything seems to be coming together for them and it's time for PM to step up. They get it done this week and are SB bound!

Maybe he meant the last time they played in the playoffs. Patriots completely shut down Indy in that game and neutralized Payton's offensive weapons.

After yesterday its hard to see the Patriots losing to the Colts (or the NFC champs) ... this is the NFL so you never know, but my vote goes with NE to win the whole thing.

I'm a huge Colts fan and would love to see the Colts win and I think they can and will. But the Patriots aren't a team to be taken lightly in the playoffs. This won't be an easy win for us. We need the defense to show up again and the offense to show up and put points on the board while taking time off the clock. And I'm not talking just field goals, we need touchdowns.

OK, so 99 million in 7 years VS. 60 million in 6 years?
That's a difference of $4.143 million per year...

It was a close game and Brady made tons of mistakes.

This game is too close to call, although i want the Pats to lose.

Patriots played HORRIBLE yesterday, I don't know why anyone would be encouraged after that performance. If it wasn't for San Diego pretty much doing everything in their power to give that game away we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

This is the first AFC to ever be in a dome. The 2003 Championship game was in New England.

Ooops - you are right. I was thinking of a different game, and the stats I found were listed weird, and I thought it showed Indy as the home team.

Good news is, since 1970, the Pats have made 5 appearances in the AFC Championship game. Care to guess at their record?

The Colts will win this game.

Maybe people will get off Manning's back after he makes it to a Super Bowl.

Although I doubt it, its certainly possible you are correct, but if they do I'll be picking the NFC champs to win, especially if its the Saints.

All very true, but the main reason they played so poorly on offense was the Chargers over-powering pass rush/defensive line ... the Colts have nothing remotely close to that to throw at Brady & shake him up, so they'll need to score a lot more then 16 points in order to win.

If the old Peyton Manning makes an appearence out of nowhere then they have a chance, otherwise its going to be a NE day.

Doesnt IND suck? Im pretty sure they suck.... they won so many close calls, they could easily have not even made the playoffs if the coin flips went another way.

NE over IND Bears over NO, Bears over NE
