Branching out to try something different tonight, thought I'd ask on some suggestions from any seasoned Indian food eaters. Here's the menu if anyone wants to see:

The only thing I don't like is seafood.
I'd also prefer to stay lower to mid calorie level if possible. Nothing too crazy high.

Looking for a tasty new dish, any suggestions? Thanks.

I love paneer. So yummy. I like most Indian food though; maybe go for something safe like Tandoori or Butter chicken?

chicken tikka
aloo gobi
garlic naan

those are fairly accessible and aren't too bad, calorie wise

Chicken and Fish Tikka are my favorites. But I'm not the most well versed person in Indian food.

Love me some tikka chicken. No clue on calorie content. Not exactly sure what the sauce consists of. I also love that jalapeno chutney they mix with mint and cilantro. That stuff is awesome. Dip some garlic naan in there....yummy.

IMO it's kinda hard to go wrong with anything. Definitely get some samosas though. Those things are pure happiness.

Lamb Biryani is always a favorite when ordering Indian. In an Indian restaurant, it's OK to order for the table and share the dishes, in case you want to try different things.

I like the food,, but everytime I leave an indian restaurant I have to purchase a new jacket,, as the old one will never be relieved of the scent... WAY too rich for my blood.

Chicken Tikka Masala is gonna be mild if you like Indian food.

vegetarian options would be
Naan and Paneer masala /

Non Vegetarian combinations
Appetizers - Keema Samosa , Chicken Tikka

Entrees - Keema Naan or aloo naan or regular naan with some sort of gravy [hicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Jalfrezi [slightly drier version], Kadai Ginger chicken

Ask them for Kingfisher beer, it is a light Indian beer, goes very well down with Indian food. or you can try the all special mango Lassi [sweet or sour depending on your taste]

Thanks, would prefer a reasonably spicy dish.
