Did the Whitting workers sabotage the refinery again?

Gas was hanging around $2 for the Labor Day Weekend but did the proverbial 30 cent jump yet again and now many stations at $2.35

Dunno. Like Meghan54, I'm seeing almost all the stations in NW Indianapolis reporting in the last 4 hrs to be under $2.00. Most expensive shows $2.04. Nothing shows anywhere near $2.35 on the entire map. Maybe tomorrow?

Indianapolis Stats
Average Price 2.08
Lowest Price 1.92
Current Trend down

Average price in Tallahassee is $2.19. Lowest shows as $2.06. Wish I had Indy prices right now.

Paid $1.889 Friday. Passed $1.859 later. Nice to not have leaders so stupid as to insist on our own special blend.

Oil on the way back up. Just crossed $45 mark. Gas I'm sure will jump rapidly.

U.S. oil, also referred to as WTI crude, closed up about 1.3 percent, at $44.59 a barrel.

While it was above $45 it was unable to stay there.
The reason for the jump - POLITICS:
West Texas Intermediate crude closed higher on Tuesday after the White House said it does not support a move by the U.S. House of Representatives to repeal a 40-year-old ban on exports of crude oil.

"This is a policy decision that is made over at the Commerce Department, and for that reason, we wouldn't support legislation like the one that's been put forward by Republicans," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at a briefing.

And by the Obama administration also.

Seems like the Democrats are screwing Dave, not the Republicans

Anyone see a reason for the 40 cents jump yet? Some stations as high as $2.39 now. Did oil jump $10 or something?

Edit: Yes I see oil jumped $7 today.

Weekly crude oil inventories unexpectedly fell, supporting further gains in oil prices. Crude surged more than 5.5 percent, while brent was briefly up more than 7 percent above $50 a barrel.
Crude oil futures for October delivery settled up 5.7 percent at $47.16 a barrel.

Just because it went; does not mean it closed.

Yesterday was at 44.59;
Today at 47.16.

Where is the $7 jump?

7% is not $7

Or just more FUD from you.:\

The local TV stations want to know why the Oil Thug supporters like the ones in here lied about gas staying under $2 till the end of the year:

Gas prices soar after big drop last week

There was a big jump in gas prices Wednesday night into Thursday morning, after that big drop over the last week.

At 71st Street and Binford Boulevard, gas prices were $2.29 Thursday morning. It could be the same story for stations all over the area throughout the day.

According to gasbuddy.com, the average price in Indianapolis will go up as high as $2.30. That’s up 30 cents in just 24 hours.

Drivers have seen some spots at $1.99 and even at $1.80.

This new increase comes after months-long reports that prices will stay around the $2 mark or below through the end of the year.

Oil prices jumped about 6-percent Wednesday but so far it’s unclear if that’s led to the quick jump.

Across the state, the average is $2.21. The national average is $2.30.

Before this spike, analysts were saying the average here was $1.99 but again they’re predicting that to jump to $2.30.

Same reason you "lied" about gas rising $.35 on 9/11. There was no rise at all.

Same reason you "lied" about prices rising to $2.39 yesterday. No stations reported over $2.29 yesterday and I don't see any today (reporting in the last 4 hours.)

Prices can be bad enough without the constant exaggeration that makes everyone distrust what you say, even when it is true.

News radio said today expect gasoline to be $16 to $22 a gallon in the U.S.

I'm sure this pleases the resident Oil Supporting AT Thugs more than the Coneheads.

House panel votes to lift 40-year-old US ban on oil exports

Republican-led House panel votes to lift crude oil export ban despite White House opposition

Opponents said lifting the ban would benefit big oil companies at the expense of U.S. consumers and even national security.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest accused Republicans of trying to "cozy up to oil interests" by pursuing policies that benefit the oil and gas industry.

You have to give him credit - with all the voices in his head, he actually identified the "new radio" voices in the jumble.

Too bad I am forced to see your garbage posts. Tried to add your nonsense to my ignore list:

Sorry allisolm is a moderator/admin and you are not allowed to ignore him or her.

I posted the TV station complete with video refuting you being wrong especially since you are not here.

Your profile says Tallahasee. Last I checked that in Florida not Indianapolis Indiana.

News stations are just like Dave; look for the exception to generate publicity.

Most Indy gas today is at/below $2.19, at least one is below $2.

As with any area; there are exceptions; one is gouging at $2.49 and a few are in the $2.3X

Prices jumped and fell because it was not sustainable

Oil Thugs burn up another Refinery on purposes, Mid West Gas prices rising more

Oil rallies on gasoline jump

Gasoline futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange were up about 3 percent after a fire was reported on Saturday at an unit of Husky Energy's 155,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Lima, Ohio.

Oil prices rallied on Monday, with U.S crude up as much as 3 percent, amid a jump in gasoline prices and on concerns that U.S. crude production may slow as drilling steadily declines.
