Did the Whitting workers sabotage the refinery again?
Gas was hanging around $2 for the Labor Day Weekend but did the proverbial 30 cent jump yet again and now many stations at $2.35

Oil on the way back up. Just crossed $45 mark. Gas I'm sure will jump rapidly.
U.S. oil, also referred to as WTI crude, closed up about 1.3 percent, at $44.59 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate crude closed higher on Tuesday after the White House said it does not support a move by the U.S. House of Representatives to repeal a 40-year-old ban on exports of crude oil.
"This is a policy decision that is made over at the Commerce Department, and for that reason, we wouldn't support legislation like the one that's been put forward by Republicans," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at a briefing.
Anyone see a reason for the 40 cents jump yet? Some stations as high as $2.39 now. Did oil jump $10 or something?
Edit: Yes I see oil jumped $7 today.
Weekly crude oil inventories unexpectedly fell, supporting further gains in oil prices. Crude surged more than 5.5 percent, while brent was briefly up more than 7 percent above $50 a barrel.
Crude oil futures for October delivery settled up 5.7 percent at $47.16 a barrel.
Today at 47.16.
Where is the $7 jump?
7% is not $7
The local TV stations want to know why the Oil Thug supporters like the ones in here lied about gas staying under $2 till the end of the year:

News radio said today expect gasoline to be $16 to $22 a gallon in the U.S.
Quoting for posterity and future lulz.
News radio said today expect gasoline to be $16 to $22 a gallon in the U.S.
LOL @ Dave and "News radio said today expect gasoline to be $16 to $22 a gallon in the U.S."
Must be some "news radio" that only Dave can hear.
Same reason you "lied" about gas rising $.35 on 9/11. There was no rise at all.
Same reason you "lied" about prices rising to $2.39 yesterday. No stations reported over $2.29 yesterday and I don't see any today (reporting in the last 4 hours.)
Prices can be bad enough without the constant exaggeration that makes everyone distrust what you say, even when it is true.

Gas prices soar after big drop last week
There was a big jump in gas prices Wednesday night into Thursday morning, after that big drop over the last week.
At 71st Street and Binford Boulevard, gas prices were $2.29 Thursday morning. It could be the same story for stations all over the area throughout the day.
According to gasbuddy.com, the average price in Indianapolis will go up as high as $2.30. Thats up 30 cents in just 24 hours.
Drivers have seen some spots at $1.99 and even at $1.80.
This new increase comes after months-long reports that prices will stay around the $2 mark or below through the end of the year.
Oil prices jumped about 6-percent Wednesday but so far its unclear if thats led to the quick jump.
Across the state, the average is $2.21. The national average is $2.30.
Before this spike, analysts were saying the average here was $1.99 but again theyre predicting that to jump to $2.30.
