Perhaps instead you can tell me specifically what Trump-bashing stories are NOT lunacy based on "anonymous sources". We've got Flynn resigning because he told a verifiable lie to Pence and then a great mass of white noise masquerading as news.

I once thought you smarter than this. Now I'm not so sure.

This, from a guy that correctly reproached Obama for his persistent witch hunt of whistle-blowers and journalistic protections, now seems to think that the very same tenants of journalistic practice and integrity are suddenly quite reproachable.

How curious.

I wrote this in another post, but paste worthy. Nothing below is being disputed.

Michael Flynn - In contact with several Russian officials during campaign. Fired by Obama admin after ties to Russia were found. Obama admin warned Trump several times and Trump did nothing until Flynn was publicly caught lying to Pence about it.
Jeff Sessions - in contact with several Russian officials during campaign and lied about it on his security clearance papers AND lied under oath in front of congress. Later removed himself from the investigation due to the appearance of impropriety, then recommended Trump fire Comey anyhow.
Jared Kutchner - in contact with several Russian officials during campaign and lied about it on his security clearance papers.
Paul Manafort (Trumps former campaign manager) - in contact with several Russian officials during campaign.
Rex Tillerson - Close ties to Russia for decades.
Donald Trump himself:
- Refuses to say anything negative about Russia
- Refuses to acknowledge Russia meddling even after CIA and FBI publicly acknowledge that they absolutely were hacking in to our political parties during a presidential election.
- Lets Russian Ambassador and Foreign minister (a known spy recruiter) into Oval office and bans US press from entering while allowing Russian press in, then divulges classified info to them (thus declassifying it).
- Fired head of FBI that was in charge of investigation.
- Keeps changing the story as things come out.
- After all of this monkey biz, still wont say anything negative about Flynn

Those things are all confirmed.
Forget the negative left leaning mainstream media. Forget the democrats, forget any other Trump haters. These are things that the CIA confirmed and the FBI had 150+ agents and tech staff on prior to Comeys firing. WTF is with all of these ties to Russia? There is obvious impropriety here. What will it take for the Reps to finally look at this without the denial glasses? FFS, you guys jumped all over Obama when he (gasp) bowed to the Japanese prime minister but its fine when Trump admittedly gave classified info to our biggest adversary - Russia. Seriously, what will it take for you to see this for what it is?

Everything here is fine, except that Flynn wasn't fired after Russia ties were found. He was fired due to his management style. The Russia ties seem to have emerged after.

Also, this hardly scratches the surface of what is confirmed. For example, Trump has twice admitted that he fired Comey over the investigation.

Not quite. This is the timeline & the circumstances of Flynn's dismissal-

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...02/15/the-firing-of-michael-flynn-a-timeline/

You'll notice that the Trump admin version contradicts itself.

There were revelations later that his contacts were apparently greater than that.

Linked from that page-

I was referring to his dismissal by the Obama administration in 2014, not his later dismissal by the Trump administration. The post I was responding to said "Fired by Obama admin after ties to Russia were found." Not accurate. His Russia ties seem to have emerged after he left the DIA and retired from the military in 2014.

Of course. It always does, that is a Trump thing.

"Sure, I have a lot of business dealings with Russia" - Donald Trump 2014
"I have no business with Russia at all" - Donald Trump 2016

And on top of it, reporting his own contradictions using words he actually spoke himself with his own oddly shaped mouth he calls "fake news"

Our country is a joke letting the 1/3 with the lowest intelligence to run the farm.

Coming. These things take time.

Are we great again yet?

Ken Starr dragged out the Whitewater investigation for 5 years. I think Repubs are still investigating Ben-fucking-ghazi.

But Trump is being persecuted, obviously.

Flynn and Cohen are now both under subpoena:

http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/31/politics/house-russia-investigators-subpoena-flynn-cohen/index.html

Will be interesting to see if Flynn decides to take the 5th.

Looks like 7 were issued.
http://thehill.com/policy/national-...subpoenas-issued-in-house-russia-probe-report

PLOT TWIST....3 of them for trying to smoke out people related "unmasking" issues. Glad to see we have some semblance of priorities here. At least more than half of them were for the issues at hand.

Yeah, I noticed that bit of nonsense as well. I suppose they are trying to figure out who leaked to the media that fact that Flynn is a lying piece of shit who was a major security risk for the country. Frankly, I'm glad this information was leaked, or Flynn would clearly still be our National Security Advisor. I find it amusing that they are so concerned about leaks, for security reasons, but they have no concern that we had an NSA who was compromised because a foreign power knew he lied to the press and because he was taking undisclosed payments from two foreign powers.

I assume this was some sort of olive branch that had to be extended to the GOP to keep this moving. Much like a parent at a grocery store that has a kid screaming for candy at the check out isle and you give in and buy the damn pack of skittles to get the little shits to shut up so you can get on your way without much more drama.

The whole diversion into "improper unmasking" is exquisitely circular. Rice didn't know who she asked to be unmasked for her eyes only or she wouldn't have asked. How that can be politically motivated is a complete non-sequiter.

Maybe it's the Kenyan mooslim voodoo time warp mind control in action...

LOL, if you think that's bad, can you imagine being the "2/3" with "higher intelligence" losing to them?

it's also been reported that the 3 "unmasking" subpoenas were from Nunes who supposedly recused himself of everything RussiaTrumpGate.
