Thankfully the GOP lit settled law and judicial norms on fire and we can now do whatever the fuck we want. Biden should pardon him immediately, fire Durham and incite everyone to start making death threats against his family for this witch-hunt. Also: Fake News.Well, it does technically qualify as perjury. I seem to recall the same argument was made when Flynn lied to the FBI, that the FBI knew the truth anyway so the lie wasn't material. Except it was the right making that argument. And it was a bad argument.
That said, this is pretty ticky-tack for a perjury charge. It sounds like Durham couldn't really find much of anything and was desperate to justify the two years and taxpayer dollars spent on his investigation.
