Apologies if this has been posted, but it seems relevant to the thread:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAxaalddaqI

When asked about having seen evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians, Diane Feinstein answered "Not at this time." Not sure what to make of this, actually I was stunned at the directness of her answer.

What if the indictments weren't for collusion or anything even election related. What if they really are mass scale money laundering done prior to the election?

Remember how many people were saying Hillary was definnitely guilty and there was so much evidence..... I'll wait until the FBI gives their final report. Anything else is just desperation clinging to statements by people with incomplete information.

Technically a felon can still be president, I would assume that if he was convicted though, being in prison would put a damper on his presidential dealings.

Maybe he'll pardon himself, like some kind of Magic:The Gathering self-reinforcement loop?

If it came to that, there is absolutely *NO WAY* the GOP could stand silent and not move towards impeachment papers. There will be rioters in the streets asking for his head.

I'd always considered Senator Feinstein to be an authority, particularly on defense matters. So it was a bit jarring to hear her answer. If there's nothing now, after substantial time, investigation, and countless news stories, when will there be something?

I think I've said multiple times over the last 6 months...follow the money. Read my post above...the FBI is following the money. Let us see how far down the rabbit hole this goes.

Sure, just like with Bill Clinton an investigation about Whitewater eventually turned up into an indictment for lying under oath about having an affair with Monica. It would have been just as pointless and premature to put up a thread at the very beginning of his presidency confidently proclaiming "indictments are coming." I get the feeling that some are displaying the same "he's actually Kenyan and will be removed from office imminently" wishful thinking that occurred during the Obama admin. So long as you approach this with the correct mindset that indicting Trump is a Hail Mary type outcome then you're OK, if you're expecting him to be out in weeks or months you're likely delusional.

More important to me then anything is a continued press and driving his approval into the ground. We are seeing tiny signs of the Senate starting to work against him and the GOP as a whole and it gets a little less partisan as their popularity drops.

Does that mean that allegations are a tool to achieve desired ends, regardless of their merit?

Someone told me that some guy mentioned Trump. Clearly Obama had Trump tapped.

Your statement is not supported by any logical construction.

IIRC Napolitano said the info on Flynn came from the GCHQ. We now have reports that the GCHQ had been contacting our intel community with reports about Flynn and data they collected (wiretapped or whatever the preferred term is.).

British intelligence passed Trump associates' communications with Russians on to US counterparts

None of that confirms that Obama wiretapped anyone.

I find your tirade in this thread a little curious. The OP started the thread with a source that's pretty shaky, and didn't get much support from lefties around here. Most either expressed skepticism about the source or made no comment one way or another about her. In fact, not one lefty backed the credibility of this story until nearly the bottom of page 2. And you thought this was the right context to pop in and go on about how how "loony" and "unhinged" liberals on this forum are?

I wonder how often you see a conservative start a thread based on a non-credible source, and several other conservatives pop in to express skepticism about it? I've been around here a long while, and I don't recall that happening often at all, even back in the days when there were more conservatives around here.

This is what Napolitano said.

Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command," Napolitano said. "He didn't use the NSA, he didn't use the CIA, he didn't use the FBI, and he didn't use the Department of Justice."

Instead, Napolitano said, Obama used GCHQ, a British intelligence and security organization that has 24-7 access to the NSA database.

"There's no American fingerprints on this," Napolitano said. "What happened to the guy who ordered this? Resigned three days after Donald Trump was inaugurated."

If the Brits were spying on Russians it was and is proper a procedure. In fact we have an agreement with them and others for this purpose. In no way is there any suggestion that Obama or any other agency conspired to "go outside the chain of command". Napolitano has no basis for his accusation and that anything other than normal intel gathering and sharing happened. The Russians are ALWAYS being listened on and potentially important shared.

You haven't demonstrated anything else and no one claimed we don't share intel. Doesn't work.

Well, to be complete, Napolitano said Obama asked the Brits to eavesdrop for us. Which is vastly different (at least in honest conversation) than FVEY data sharing.

It's not just this thread that prompts me to talk about the loony and unhinged lefties in here. There are many, many others. I chose this one to post my "tirade" since I don't post often in P&N anymore because it has become a nasty place to be.

I don't care about conservatives since I'm not one of them. I do care about the left and feel that they should change their focus from Trump to the ills of their own party. Let the Oompa Loompa-in-Chief cut his own throat in the process.

What qualifies you to be Lib-police?

Also, you don't seem to consider that the "Oompa Loompa" you are talking about has access to the world's most powerful nuclear arsenal, and has petty fights on twitter. The two of those facts should give everyone pause.
