You understand that even if your wildest dreams come true and Trump ends up in prison or exile, we're left with the same shitty problems we have now, right?
People act like if the investigation plays out and they can nail enough of these fucks to the wall, all the damage of the last few years will be unwound and we can go back to how things were. Sorry, not happening. Child rapists are being elected to the senate to give tax cuts to millionaires, that's where we are and Muller can't fix it.
Trump and the current Republican party are the best thing to happen to the Democrats in a long time. 2018 will be a slaughter.no, but if anything, purging these absolute verified dirtbags from their stolen positions will bring some assurance that separation of powers still exist, and the foundations of our republic are still effective and stronger than the delusions of a single fake emperor. That is actually rather important, because it is so rare that this has been tested and really, with the power entrenched in Congress and the seats stolen in federal benches, it has never been this dangerous.
It would send a shock to the GOP dotards that the country truly is awake, and they aught to be prepared for the shitcanning that is coming. All it really takes is the vastly overwhelming majority of liberal and moderate voters in this country to actually go out and vote for once, which has long been their problem. I think they are waking up.

The Democrats need to build a message other than "We aren't Trump" to really clean house in 2018 and 2020. I don't see that happening yet.

As Zin said, we just need to show up at the polls. I really was not excited and I think a lot of other Dems were not that excited about Hillary. What we are seeing now happening to our country is a very motivating thing. The Democrats need to build a message other than "We aren't Trump" to really clean house in 2018 and 2020. If anything, I'd argue that this message played a role in costing Dems 2016. "We aren't Trump" is not enticing enough to democratic voters. Works very well with Republicans however. The Democrats need to build a message other than "We aren't Trump" to really clean house in 2018 and 2020. I don't see that happening yet.

well yeah, this is also important. What sucks about campaigns is that boring people to tears with facts and charts that show real data and the incontrovertible truth that republican policy has been screwing them over 30 years, simply doesn't work. Republicans are so, so, so much better at lying to your face, because that's all they can do. Dems aren't the greatest, but there is a stronger tendency towards honesty and actually discussing policy on its merits. ...this sort of thing hasn't really worked well since the 70s.
It's tough to win on the merits of actual policy and truth. Imagine that.
This nothingburger is turning into
Fox is avoiding the discussion like a plague.
But on the Network it’s as though it means nothing. Cavuto gave it a couple of seconds, but it’s all taxes and sanctuary cities.Fox News does have Flynn on frontpage.
Oh no. The Trump brain trust is going down?Apparently CNN now says their sources tell them it was Kushner who directed Flynn to contact Russians... Hopefully those sources are correct.
lol *thwack*Irony: Boomerang doesn't understand how a boomerang works.
Not the meaningless thoughts and prayers gun violence victims receive I hope.everything thus far is very good news. I'm not counting chickens though until they are hatched, out of office and possibly behind bars.
I will say though that my thoughts and prayers go out to Mueller.
But still not enough. If anything, I'd argue that this message played a role in costing Dems 2016. "We aren't Trump" is not enticing enough to democratic voters. Works very well with Republicans however.
Things might be different after Trump election however. I would imagine "we're not Trump" works a lot better now than it did a year ago.
Holy shit they are saying Flynn talked to Kislyak with the blessing of the Obama admin. They fired him for lying about it but say it was with Obamas blessing.
