The official said it's not accurate that Jared Kushner directed Flynn to talk to the Russian ambassador. This official said there were "fulsome discussions with the entire group" about Flynn's conversation with the ambassador, adding that multiple transition officials were involved in the decision.
This official defended Flynn's conversations and claimed the Obama White House knew about the discussions. "None of the conversations were improper and were authorized by the Obama administration," the official said, noting that the Trump team did have a different view on Russian sanctions than the outgoing Obama administration.
CNN is reaching out to former Obama officials for comment.
I think the comment from Obama officials will be:
Flynn who?
I think the comment from Obama officials will be:
Bahahahahahaha
What is there to spin? They claimed they fired Flynn for lying to pence. Now they claim they knew all about it. They are lying.Nah. Theyll spin it, or "no comment"

Ridiculously well done steak with ketchup.
Let me establish I'm not a Trump guy however I have trouble accepting some "report" on twitter from a nobody saying something outrageous without any evidence.
Yummy appetizer! I prefer making appetizers my whole meal but I'm not greedy. In fact I have no difficulty in showing restraint. I expect the meal will be delicious! I anticipate Mueller to be the best damn chef in the known Universe.Nope not yet but today is the appetizer
With their judgment, you may well be right. You have a lot more faith in the current Congress than I do.
I honestly believe the current majority in both houses wouldn’t push it until long after the the horses have left the barn and are on the beach in some small Caribbean tax haven island sipping mai-tais.
Actually the Clintons reference was only regarding Russia; I can't see them getting caught up in Mueller's net at all beyond embarrassment, as in buying the pee pee dossier. As far as the wide net, I'm thinking the Trumpets. Trump is widely known for playing fast and loose, and I'm pretty sure that he has surrounded himself with a lot of like-minded people. I very seriously doubt that anything actionable ever comes of Russian collusion, but I bet turning over the rocks and poking through financial records can discover a LOT of crimes. To me, that's the real value of this investigation. Lots of politicians are already circumspect in dealing with foreign governments, but I bet a lot of asses are drawn up tight thinking about what might come to light if they get linked, in however circumspect a fashion, to someone in this investigation.I'm fine with casting a wide net. If the Clintons are guilty of something, they should be prosecuted like anyone else. The problem isn't that. It's that if an indictment does not happen, it will be a conspiracy of some kind. Mueller is a closet liberal. Or some other liberal, behind the scenes, manipulating the situation to let the Clintons off. You call for a certain legal process, but that legal process is always going to be irrelevant to the right if it doesn't produce the result they want. I don't think the average conservative will ever, under any circumstances, accept that the Clintons are either just not guilty, or even if they are, that there is insufficient evidence to prosecute them.

Things that powerful people were absolutely certain would never be challenged are now quite likely to wind up in court due to being uncovered as part of this investigation. THAT is how the swamp is drained.
Absolute insanity. People are insane.Obama sent Flynn to talk to Kislyak after firing him to undermine the sanctions Obama was about to levy. Completely believable, I'm sold - thanks Obama.
This is true. Although it's probably not significant since the only alligators and CFTLOCs being excised are the ones he put there. But yeah, it is still funny. And Trump's involvement in draining the swamp isn't exactly what anyone (from his base and his enablers) anticipated, including himself. It's funny because it's funny.
lol *thwack*
Surely, Trump and the WH can't think their base is THAT stupid...can they? ARE they??
I didn't believe it, but Ty Cobb's official statement describes Flynn as an Obama official.
Also, Abramson pointed out how CNN heard from one WH source that Flynn took the plea deal on his own, while yet another WH source claimed he took the deal with Trump's blessing. They are tripping over their lies again...
I don't pay attention to the opiod poster child.Limbaugh was going on today about how Obama never fired Flynn, and at least Trump had the balls to fire him.
