Does that mean that allegations are a tool to achieve desired ends, regardless of their merit?

It's not even so much the allegations. Rather the complete lack of transparency and completely unhinged ramblings of a dementia riddled old man give me serious pause as to his ability or authenticity to do anything remotely positive for the overall population of this country. The GOP have hitched their wagon to this madness and have yet to pull the safety brake. Trump and co have almost never admitted any fault and it's just one continuous lie and walk back after another. At this point even if he *IS* telling the truth a majority of the population will never believe him.

Recent polls have suggested that some of his base are starting to pull away. His largest loss in a recent Quinnipac survey was with non-colllege educated white people. AKA his core. He dropped almost 10 points in that category. The base is eroding. Eventually the GOP are going to have to face the music and realize he's more of a burden than a blessing to them come 2018. Is it too much to ask for a bit of sanity, measured responses and actual compassion for a majority of the 330 million people that live here instead of nothing but petty squabbles, after dinner bombing entertainment and enriching already rich billionaires?

That's a lot of words to say "yes." All these investigations that go nowhere are just causing people to be jaded about accusations of wrongdoing. Every time our investigative apparatus is misused for political ends, we embolden unscrupulous players and edge a bit closer to the kind of pervasive corruption formerly seen mainly in Third World countries.

Ok then lets just end the politics and 3 ring circus and appoint an independent investigation and get this wrapped up quickly. Is that too much to ask?

Yeah, agree 100%, though we seem to be at the point where there's almost no such thing as an independent anything.

They are certainly trying to make the case that it is.

What qualifies you to be Lib-police?
Duh.The same qualifications that prompt anyone in here to be police of any sort prompt me to be the lib-police. This forum is full of conservative police. Yet if someone who is liberal comes in and polices their own they are somehow bad? Like I said previously, libs hate to be told what to do, all while telling other what to do.
Also, you don't seem to consider that the "Oompa Loompa" you are talking about has access to the world's most powerful nuclear arsenal, and has petty fights on twitter. The two of those facts should give everyone pause.
His idiocy on Twitter means he might push the nuclear button? Over-react much? Sheesh. And folks in here wonder why I bring up the unhinged left?

Thanks for the wonderfully glorious demonstration of my point. Your post is much appreciated.

So you're missing the point that this man is dangerous?

Volatility and impulsivity plus being spoiled, entitled, greedy, a fame whore, thin skinned, likely mentally declining and harboring a disdain for the vast majority of the populous... Yes, the Dems need to look into fixing the party but Trump is a more pressing matter. Police away with your misdirected displeasure but remember to poke some breathing holes in whatever hole you've got your head stuck in.

Thank you. And I will keep that in mind. He just seems confused and angry in a rather comical way as opposed to the reasonable (?) Person he believes he is portraying. It taunts me a bit.

Don't be hard on him. He's really concerned for us.

Awww. The conservative police are butthurt when someone breaks ranks.

Poor kids. You, hopefully, will grow up some day. Probably not in the near future though. Go ahead. Work on your stank face for whenever you might confront a perceived righty. It's what politics is all about.

Bunch of sad limpys.

Hey, TLC! I see you're still flogging your "belligerent fvckwit" shtick, as you so eloquently put it long ago. Still shilling for the GOP, too, I see, while pretending to be a liberal. I thought you'd have a new assignment by now, or at least some new material. Tell us, did you ever figure out that invading Iraq was a fiasco and a fraud, or are you still its most fervent fluffer?

Anyway, you take care. Never know when some mean liberals might be hiding under your bed.

https://patribotics.blog/2017/05/14/exclusive-sealed-indictment-granted-against-donald-trump/

Separate sources with links to the intelligence and justice communities have stated that a sealed indictment has been granted against Donald Trump.

While it is understood that the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution means that, until Mr. Trump is impeached, he cannot be prosecuted, sources say that the indictment is intended by the FBI and prosecutors in the Justice Department to form the basis of Mr. Trump’s impeachment. The indictment is, perhaps uniquely, not intended or expected to be used for prosecution, sources say, because of the constitutional position of the President.
