Isn't the alleged pee tape mischaracterized? Everyone acts like he allegedly had Russian prostitutes pee on him but I thought the dossier contended that he had Russian prostitutes pee on a bed that Obama once slept in.
That would make more sense (and unfortunately shows that the state of modern journalism ran with the other version, which to be fair, most outlets felt that indicated it being fake so Buzzfeed fucking runs with it; and you could say that others were doing more of their due diligence, and eventually showed it had much stronger credibility, but it'd be nice if there was a concerted effort to get that detail corrected, if for no other reason than it helps turn it from a joke to highlighting Turmp's impetus). Which seems to be that he's so completely infatuated with Obama that he's blind to anything else. But then what do you expect from someone that subsists on Fox News spewing that rhetoric for years. Hell wasn't Turmp years late to the birther and many other things? I think what happened is that the people actually handling his businesses had to tell him he couldn't do various things he wanted (or were trying to explain why his casino in AC failed), and they had to explain to him about the Great Recession, and he, like too many other conservatives, put that on Obama, so he started eating up all of Fox's rhetoric, with occasional exposure to even more radical right wing media - which eventually led him to the likes of Roger Stone and Bannon. He became convinced that Obama setback the US, and so he really thinks that Obama was out sabotaging everything, so he genuinely believes that undoing Obama's stuff will get America back on track. Meanwhile he's too stupid to realize he's been gamed by the Russians and Republicans. But then anyone as willfully stupid as Turmp deserves the legacy he'll end up with. And hopefully it'll be a giant 24k gold albatross around Republican's necks which will drag them back into the sewers and cesspits they crawled out of.
Of course the irony is that Turmp is actually tying his legacy to Obama's, and that he could end up (I'd say very likely will end up) actually strengthening Obama's legacy. Basically, he's making himself second fiddle to Obama even in the best scenario for Turmp (like if somehow Turmp's legacy ends up rising from the dumpster fire it currently is, and doesn't turn into a massive wildfire), as everything Turmp will do is going to be related to Obama in some way. The only way that changes doesn't end up good for Turmp since it'll basically be that his corruption (potentially close to outright treasonous) overshadows it (like Nixon), or some other fiasco where he'll take the blame for, or something that overshadows him so strongly that he becomes a footnote of.
