That's exactly what Comey said. Everything I wrote came almost word for word from Comey's testimony. For the 'firing him over Russia' part, that's beyond dispute as Trump himself admitted it on national television. As to his evaluation of Trump's intentions it is highly relevant as we are talking about is eyewitness testimony under oath from a law enforcement officer. This is exactly the sort of evidence that is used to convict people every day.
Think about it. By your logic if a mobster came in and said 'nice house, hope it doesn't burn down' and a cop happened to hear it do you think his evaluation of the mobsters intention by his statement would be strong evidence? We both know it would be.
