I gave the Kobalt another workout yesterday. Several of us in the neighborhood got together to help clean up the back yard of a disabled homeowner who can't do it on their own. I forgot to get a picture of the whole yard before we started, but it was all like this or worse (the weeds are about 2 feet tall):
The Kobalt made it around the house, around the base of most of the trees, and almost all the way around the entire fence line before the battery gave out after 47 minutes of non-stop jungle chopping. I'm even more impressed with the results of this test than I was with the first run around my own house and my neighbor's house! The perspective turned out weird, but this is an "after shot" panorama showing how much fence this blue beastie was able to handle. I don't know the actual size of the yard, but the long fence is about 100-120 feet, and the short end is about 50 feet. You can see about 1/3 from the left what the rest of the yard looked like before we started. I cleared the actual fence behind that patch as well. The other guys were using a harvesting sickle and a large lawn mower to get the rest of the stuff not on the fence line or under the trees.
