maybe you should read what the exchange was before posting..

i do feel bad for her, but she did this to herself (and i think she's currently sticking by what she's done and doesn't regret it).

Why should anyone feel bad for her? I don't think anyone believes lawyers to be saints by any means, and now she has the world turned toward her. She's a young attractive female with a promising future, while this other guy is an old, fat guy as it turns out who came off much worse on this TV exchange imo.. Lawyers do what they do not to keep a low profile, but to draw attention..I'm sure there are countless new graduates struggling to find work or doing the dirty work/paying their dues at their firms would love to be in her current position.

i think she's the one who's going to benefit. if she is starting her own solo practice like she says she is, she'll have publicity (as the saying goes, any publicity is good publicity). sure beats working 80 hours a week, making 1/3 of your billable hours.

on top of that, there's also the possibility that the other lawyer (korman) could get sanctioned by the state bar for forwarding confidential information.

.. a girl at work got canned after 6 months. My mom just had that at her law firm.
They told everyone to stop wasting hours on the computers, especially when you are billing the client for them.
They told everyone to clean up their act in a week.
They told everyone about the extra IT's coming in to analyse all work being done on the computers.
No one listened. Sure enough, after one month they let go about 25% of the staff. Including some attorneys. Too many folks pissing away time and money, not getting work accomplished. And logs. Sweet beautiful logs of all the sh1t they were looking at online. All the time spent with Solitare or MS Hearts or minesweeper.

Some folks learn the hard way.
