I'm doing a speech on "You should never believe everything you hear"..and am looking for some nice citable examples of famous lies. Something along the lines of the earth being flat, all the misleading AIDs "facts", etc..

And I'm also looking for a clever lie to introduce my speech like, "After 3 years in jail you learn how to spot a lie"..but I don't think anyone would believe that I was ever in jail.

The Ultimate Lie. In the sack......actually her story is a good one but I've got no clue about her name. Saw it on Discovery one night

LMFAO! That lying commie has no right whatsoever to call himself an "historian". If he wants to read a fictional book on American History, then Zinn's "work" is fine. If he wants legitimate academic works, then I would suggest that he look elsewhere.
