So does it seem like a short game? How many missions would you say not counting the other quests. I've yet to even start the second mission. I need to look at the map first and figure out what I want to do. It probably makes sense to clear the DUP out of all the areas you can first before doing the missions.

I thought so too but now that I have the third power and there are no more DUP patrols and strongholds to break up...I wish I left some of that for later.

After messing around with the game last night, the fun is starting to wear off. The combat was fun at first, but now it is really shallow. The first dozen times doing the karmic bomb brought a smile to my face, but now it just seem cheap. I may take a break from this game and then come back to finish it in a month or two.

I just finished the evil karma storyline and I never once felt bored.

The only part I wish was changed was the boss fights. You fight massive bosses who have huge health bars but you take a few bad hits and it's over. Other than that, fantastic. Gonna take a break from it and come back and complete the game with good karma.

Got the last power and played around with it quite a bit. I can't spoiler tag in tapatalk so stop reading if you don't wanna know.

I'm a tad disappointed in the final power, but I found a way to make it work. Melee with the sword is slow and the ranged attack is weak, but you can zoom out of sight to turn invisible and subdue a few before repeating. Not really happy with how short the invisibility lasts fully upgraded, but meh. I actually like traveling with this power more than neon. Once you get the hang of the dash and hover it seems faster than neon. It's so fast it actually has caused some framerate dips and texture pop in for the first time all game.

Yeah it's pretty good in flight especially if you use the rooftops to your advantage. You can spoiler tag in tapatalk the same way as on your PC. Just type it out. [ spoiler] <message here> [ /spoiler] without the space.

Oh and...
that isn't the final power you get. That would be concrete which doesn't have a karma bomb but it has some decent attacks. You can upgrade it so you take lower dmg when using it. You absorb it from defeated DUP members to use it or charge it. I still prefer video though. Also do you melee with a sword using video? I was playing evil and there was this hand of doom that swung around and bashed guys. No sword. I suppose you could say it was the hand of a demon? When upgraded the invisilility power summoned 3 demons for me who attacked enemies for a short time. One of their attacks is where they kamakaze the enemy and blow him up in hellfire lol. The video ranged attack isn't weak, when fully upgraded I kill guys in seconds. It rips them apart like a minigun. Againm I was playing as Infamous so perhaps as good it isn't as effective. I don't know yet.

Yeah I knew that was coming, guess I just didn't count it because I figured it'd be right at the end.

I think the video power changes a lot w/ good/bad karma. I have blue angel wings, a blue sword, and an angel as a guardian (can only have one). Most of the damage upgrades to video are bad karma only, so that's probably why you're tearing through guys and I have to use the stealthy approach. Guess it's a good sign that the powers will be so different when played the other way, so it'll feel new during the replay.

Yeah it sounds like a new experience for me when I go back through. I also like that karma bombs take your karma choices into account so you don't get bad karma if you are playing good when using them.

Kind of feel like reading all the spoilers but I don't think I should lol.

They're not really about the story, just the powers you get later... let your consciene be your guide

Finished the game a couple days ago, and got 100% completion this morning. Started a new game immediately playing the evil side on expert. It's definitely going to be tougher now that the enemies aren't shown on the map. Should be fun though

Website didn't work when I got the game and signed up. Is it an online mini game ?

You go in the game and go to the crime scene and take photos. Then you upload them to your web profile and examine the evidence there and unlock the code hidden in the evidence and unlock the next crime scene in the game.

It gives you back story on the paper conduit.

Does anyone know if the paper trail stuff starts over if you begin a new game to play through as a different karma choice or can you continue it through that play through from the point you left off?

I'm assuming you just continue because the website doesn't know about the karma you chose. I didn't even find the first trail. I think I need to continue the story missions. I've still been mindlessly messing around the city.

I thought you had to progress the story to a certain point to unlock it because at one point it involves a character you don't interact with until later.

Yea it requires you do the story missions because I haven't found the first trail yet. But I assume you would need a new website account if you wanted to start the paper trial again. Can you unlink the psn account ?

no that's not what I mean. I did up to part 3 and I don't want to start over if I start a new play through on the game. I want to continue part 3 next week when it releases.

Finished it tonight. Kind of wish I did good on my first play through so I could ignore civilians on expert.

I enjoyed the game. Story is whatever, but gameplay is so damn fun. I played at Evil as I always do when playing games that let you choose. I'll eventually do a good play through later this year.

That's a good question. I know it "links up" with that website, but I think it only links up as far as trophies on your website profile (or whatever they are). I'm not sure if it'd transfer your progress through different playthroughs, in fact I'd be pretty surprised if it does. I haven't played through all of part 1 yet, but I have my finished good guy playthrough on a separate save so I can always complete part 1 and then see where they start me off on my 2nd playthrough. You'll probably have an answer by the time I do all that though.

I wish some of the things on the map weren't pointed out to you right away. I mean you just follow the big markers to everything with almost no discovery. I was thinking about that last night. There is really very little exploration required by the player.

You mean the main missions and dup check points? I'm not seeing anything on my map except the checkpoints I have not cleared and the star for the mission. I guess that means I got everything in that sector.

I barely see anymore drone locations either I guess I should move on to the story lol.

You go to a district and it tells you where the DUP base is. You destroy that and it tells you where everything else is. Do that then move on. I just feel like they tell you too much on the map.
