You go to a district and it tells you where the DUP base is. You destroy that and it tells you where everything else is. Do that then move on. I just feel like they tell you too much on the map.
I kind of agree
IMO it's more that there's just not a lot to do. It was a good game with enough replayability that I'll play it twice, but frankly it was way too easy and quick to get 100% of everything. They could have taken away the ability to see the drones and just told you how many were left in each district forcing you to explore to find them, but that's just artificially stretching what's already there.
Things started to feel stale towards the end, and I felt a little cheated that there wasn't more end game after you got the last power. I even purposefully left a couple DUP areas alone until I got to that point just to make use of the power. Plus there wasn't much variation in how you get karma (same issue the last game had, which they didn't fix).
I was happy to reach max karma level so I didn't have to do any more of those drug busts, which were a grind just to get good karma. Didn't help that you run away for 30 seconds, then come back and the same drug bust just respawned... making it feel like you're not doing a friggin thing.
I dunno, now that I'm done with it I was just hoping for more. They didn't fix my gripes about the last one, and in certain ways they took a couple steps backwards in controls. In the 2nd one you could switch which hand you used for your ranged attacks, which was very handy when you were leaning over a rooftop to pick guys off. Second Son doesn't have that and I missed it during a couple fights. The 8/10 it's averaging on metacritic right now seems right. It's the best game on PS4 right now, I was just hoping for a little more.
