You go to a district and it tells you where the DUP base is. You destroy that and it tells you where everything else is. Do that then move on. I just feel like they tell you too much on the map.

I kind of agree

IMO it's more that there's just not a lot to do. It was a good game with enough replayability that I'll play it twice, but frankly it was way too easy and quick to get 100% of everything. They could have taken away the ability to see the drones and just told you how many were left in each district forcing you to explore to find them, but that's just artificially stretching what's already there.

Things started to feel stale towards the end, and I felt a little cheated that there wasn't more end game after you got the last power. I even purposefully left a couple DUP areas alone until I got to that point just to make use of the power. Plus there wasn't much variation in how you get karma (same issue the last game had, which they didn't fix).

I was happy to reach max karma level so I didn't have to do any more of those drug busts, which were a grind just to get good karma. Didn't help that you run away for 30 seconds, then come back and the same drug bust just respawned... making it feel like you're not doing a friggin thing.

I dunno, now that I'm done with it I was just hoping for more. They didn't fix my gripes about the last one, and in certain ways they took a couple steps backwards in controls. In the 2nd one you could switch which hand you used for your ranged attacks, which was very handy when you were leaning over a rooftop to pick guys off. Second Son doesn't have that and I missed it during a couple fights. The 8/10 it's averaging on metacritic right now seems right. It's the best game on PS4 right now, I was just hoping for a little more.

Sums it up well. I really liked it but as you said...a few nagging details got in the way.

I'm breezing through my 2nd playthrough (evil). I'm not really spending the time doing the district uprisings as I wanted all the powers this time so I'm getting through the story really quickly. I was worried that the "expert" difficulty was going to be too frustrating, but it's not that much different. Now that I've played both good and evil for the first 3 powers, the 3rd one is probably my favorite for the evil side. It has better powerup options than the good side had, so it's powerful enough and IMO offers the best mobility of all the powers.

Just started playing this. Pretty wow so far. Gameplay is repetitive and simplistic but it's fun and pretty.

Did a orbital drop on like 3 APCs, some cars, like a dozen+ people, a bridge and some watch towers, etc, it was pretty insane.

Yes I agree that the third power is pretty badass as an evil side player. I will play through again on the good karma side as soon as all the paper trail DLC is finished. I want to see if there is an ending that is affected by karmic choices throughout.

Those look good. How do you take them use the share button or is it an in game thing? Not sure what the patch added. I continued the game today. Lots of fun still.

I took a screen after hitting a parking lot cash box, and coins went flying. Each coin actually had a texture on it and you could see that there were dimes and pennies. Didn't see quarters or nickels though. I'll post them later

Please do! I played around with the camera for the first time last night. It was a little confusing at first to get the hang of it, but Sucker Punch really put a lot of features into Photo Mode. I hope ALL first party Sony titles get it at launch!

Not the share button. It's called Photomode and was added to the game. It would be insanely awesome if it was a system feature though.

I'll have to look around in the game menus to see if I can find the photo function.

It's on the options screen, where you can save game and such. It's midway down the screen and you need to enable it. After it's enabled you press L3 at any time to freeze the action and pan the camera.

Thanks, awesome that is a good feature I'll have to check it out.

Just beat this on expert. I actually had an easier time with the final fights than I did on normal.

I've taken a bunch of cool screenshots too. Now that I can dump full res shots to a USB stick I should be able to post them soon.

Those look pretty good. I like this feature, it makes for some pretty good fun. Have you tried taking videos now that's in 720p and using share factory to edit?

I really enjoyed this game; enough to get 100% on three playthroughs. Played through normal with both good and bad karma and played through expert difficulty (which really wasn't that difficult) with good karma. I've received all the trophies.

The Paper Trail DLC is quite annoying though: run to some location and figure out a bunch of bullshit on your PC just to run to another location and figure out a bunch more bullshit. I like the way it progressed the story and tied into the audio files, but I just wish it happened more in game like the Cole's Legacy line of missions.

If I sold this on eBay, how much do you think I'd get? I've used it for like 1 and a half playthroughs.

Couldn't find it in me to repeat the story a second time through bad karma... Idk why
