I feel weak... Told myself I could wait but I just came home with a ps4 and Infamous

You will enjoy it. It's a great game and it really looks like a next gen game should look and play. Im sure there will be other games you will be interested in. So far I have all the games I've wanted for the ps4. Next game I'm interested in is watchdogs, if I don't get it for pc.

I haven't found a way to increase my smoke bar. I may have upgraded everything else except smoke by accident. Good thing there are plenty of those bots flying around. It may seem like they randomly regenerate in certain sections.

Smoke bar is one of the first things I upgraded. Definitely important to have.

I don't know if anybody else noticed this, but the light on the controller seems to change color as you get more good or evil. It starts out as a very bright white, and I happened to glance at it when I made my first "good" choice and it turned a faint blue.

Yea the speaker also makes noise when you spray paint and shake the controller to activate the paint. Makes cool little noises when absorbing shards or smoke too.

Pick up dead nation from psn since its free. That's also a fun game.

Just make sure to get PlayStation Plus if you don't have it. They've been really good about putting PS4 games on it for free.

Ah, it's too bad because according to Toys R Us's website, they don't have any in stock. Although, that might be better since I may never play it! Also, I've heard that Toys R Us's online inventory tracker is sometimes not correct.

I'm probably 40% through it and it is good fun. I wish they would remake SR4 using this engine.

I've had it for a while already, so I've added the ps4 games as they came out.

It's tough having to relearn how to aim with a controller. I've been playing mostly PC for a while. I had a similar problem with the other ones too... Most games like this have lock-on aiming but infamous never did

Same... I can't imagine trying to play Hero. I blow up so many civs up by accident while fighting DUP soldiers. Every time I do one of those rampage streak comet things on a street at least 8-10 die

Evil is just more fun. Don't have to worry about civ casualties. Just spray and bomb.

The crazy part is, even though I'm evil, I would have made the same decisions and said what he did. Maybe I'm evil IRL

Yea me either I was also suprised but it's kind of what I expected. If you choose one side but play towards the other your actions will reverse your character's nature.

Yup and that's the problem with games like this, there really isn't much choice because you basically have to either keep playing good or keep playing evil, if you don't you won't unlock the best abilities for each side. But it's so damn fun to play I never cared.

I've spent about 8 hours now rampaging, kicking the DUP out of each district, collecting all the shards, collecting new powers, painting the walls, getting all the audio logs, finding all the secret agents, and trying to level up my karma choice.

I don't think I've had so much fun in a game without going through the story in a long time. Maybe GTA 5 but that game just had a lot of random pointless space with nothing of interest so a lot of my time was spent looking for what there is to do there. Many times it was just open space to make the game feel larger. This game seems to pack everything more tightly which I prefer I guess. Never have to travel far to get to the next objective or point of interest.

Yea I get lost looking for side quests and get so involved. The tougher ones are the hidden cameras. You can literally spend hours doing destruction. But I suppose you have to do the story missions to advance to other parts of the city. I'm only on the second missions so far.

Oh man, neon is everything I've been looking for as a good guy. The whole slo-mo mechanic is awesome. Once I got the power up that resets slo-mo when I dash I was having even more fun. I'm glad I decided to go this route first, as I went evil the first time on the other games and didn't have the patience to replay the good route after obliterating everything in sight. This time I'll be diving into the evil side immediately after finishing the first play through.

In another note, I noticed that the controller changes to the color of spray paint that you're using.

I think the graffiti art is actually pretty cool. I don't like having to hold the controller sideways like that but I like the art style that it comes out to. Pretty cool.

That's a little harsh, IMO. It serves a purpose, but it takes too long.

Yep...it's a time waster but there is a purpose. I'm playing evil and I love some of the designs that mock the DUP. I especially liked the Purple Rain artwork.


I don't know if the following is a spoiler or not about the powers so I tagged it anyway just in case someone hasn't seen it yet

I just got the Neon powers and OMG...so much cooler than smoke. I miss the dashing through vents but running straight up the walls? So much cooler. I wish you could use both at once though. Disappointed you can't switch on the fly. It was awesome when I executed a civilian and everyone standing over them asking for me to help them got zapped by neon in a chain reaction and I got credit for 5 kills.

Can't you press circle to skip the spaying? I haven't tried it but I remember seeing the prompt for it

Seriously though, I couldn't skip past it. Kinda annoying after the first couple of times.

If you press circle after the first iteration, it says abandon with the circle icon. I'm not sure if that just means you leave it half finished or if delson completes it. I don't mind them that much.

Pretty sure abandon is there for when you start spraying and you don't want that design, you can cancel out and try the other one. Obviously it's a karma choice too.
