Nissan should of stuffed a turbo under the hood to compete with the 335i, simple mods to the 335i will see some huge gains. Heck i gained 28 rwhp from a simple cat/exhaust, and its just a 2.0L turbo. Imagine the gains the 335i will see, naturally aspirated engines can only dream of those kind of gains.

 Infiniti used to have bad interiors. The latest G35 sedan interior is nice, and the M35/M45 interiors are very nice.

Still not up to par with Lexus.

Yes, I have sat in both.

I would rank Lexus > Acura > Infiniti interior wise.

Performance wise, Lexus and Infiniti are close.

I've sat in the IS350, 06 G35, 07 G35, and Acura TL. I would rank them IS350 > 07 G35 > Acura TL > 06 G35. I really liked the new 07 G35 Interior.

Same here, and I've driven them.

Infiniti REALLY needs to something about the crappy brakes in the G35 as well as the crap interior. Great motor, but doesn't have the complete package.

I was not aware of the new G35 having a crap interior. It's on par with the TL and IS IMO.
The only area where I felt was somewhat cheap was the plastics around the handbrake area. The upper dash plastic was also a half grade below the competitors.

The IS has a cheaper center console (CD/HVAC area) and the TL's leather is not as nice as the G35's.

Where the G35 lacks in interior quality, it more than makes up with its performance and how much car you get for the money.

I always thought the 03/04 G35 interior was pretty cheap, the 05/06 was somewhat improved, but I was very impressed by the 07 G35 interior. It was almost on par with the Lexus IS350.

That's 287 hp to the wheels, i'm guessing this is 330hp at the crank.

Not to mention, the power under the curve is quite good. It produces power all the way up to redline.

Agreed. That's a STRONG motor.

I'd still rather have the torque of the 335i. The G37 makes a bit more hp, but thats due in part to its higher redline.

Very consistent torque line for the G37 though, it's getting plenty of air in upper RPM's.

Infinity really should have done a better job with the G37. The new sedan looks way better than the G37. And the G37 doesnt make me lust over it like the 335i does. That car is pure sex

All the more headroom for turbos

Does Infiniti put Infinity systems in their cars?

The New G coupe does not seem to take good pics but looks great in person. A neighbor has a 335 sedan and it looks like any other 3 series. Personally I am really taking a liking to the new G sedan.

If it's anything like my Nissan, they put Bose in it.

Nice curves on that one . With the talk of turbos... I doubt Nissan or Infiniti would do it, because the GT-R is supposed to be a TT VQ35DE or something along those lines. It may end up being a TT VQ37... who knows.

You've seen the coupe in person?

Hmmm - the console looks awfully busy to me. That metallic plastic appears to be the same stuff in my Maxima, and it feels a little cheap in my car. I like the G35 but I think my next car will be a 3-series.

Well according to most reviews (both user reviews & car review magazines) most list the interior as Pro. Haven't seen any that listed it as a Con. You really have to sit in the new one and drive it.

I imagine you really have to touch the materials to know. That metallic plastic just looks all too familiar to this Maxima owner. FWIW I don't think my car's interior is TOO bad (and I'm sure this one is much nicer than mine), but it certainly is no Lexus.

This is just as fast as an E46 M3.
The New 350Z is and it shares a very similar motor.

I went to the dealership to look at one today, but they didn't have any. Just Sedans

I have. It's sharp as hell. To be honest I was also surprised because no auto show picture I have seen so far does it near enough justice.

Except it's not metallic plastic. It's brushed aluminum made to look like washi paper (some type of Japanese paper).
