Very important distinction, this is not one of those must finance through dealer crap deals that you normally see,and if you have the cash to pay for it,it is one of the best deals I have seen for this car.

The corresponding lease deal at 599 a month is not so good. So if anyone has the means to buy it straight up, it is a good deal.

You also left out edmunds TMV price. That's what they say is a good price to buy the car for.

TMV = $40,392. That doesn't include the $525 destination charge. It's not clear if the original poster's price includes that.

If it does, then I suppose it's a pretty good deal, but at least for the car I'm looking at, I think I'll be able to haggle to at least $500 less than the Edmunds TMV price.

Actually, after looking carefully at the post. It said: the price is on an ad. So many dealership post incredible deal on ad. When we went there, they will say the price is for that particular car with that VIN# and it is SOLD.

Don't trust what the ad said for car dealship.

I love edmunds.com and I believe you could ALWAYS buy at edmunds' invoice price plus 5%. Good price but still not the best deal a lot of times.

An ok deal for a generation that is about to be replaced. Still a great car, but with the current generation they sort of lost focus about what the essence of the Q45 was. The generation before was a great car, and with the new one coming out, Nissan/Infiniti is returning to its roots (performance, handling).

I've dealt with that dealership once before, I had my QX4 serviced there, replaced the brake pads and what not, can't say my experience was positive. Had some problems afterwards, sent them a couple of emails, and they never got back to me...

Don't be so skeptical of those "one at this price only" deal. My dad was able to get in on one. He got a 2001 Camry CE with power everything and 5-speeed for $14,000. Not a bad deal if you ask me! And yes, it was one of the VIN# mentioned in the ad!
