Same here. There was instructions, and a "how close am I to my Nomad" link. Now they're all gone. Any suggestions as to how to get out of this (ie: with the CC company, or emusic etc?)

There is not even a link to the promotion on Emusic's site anymore. I guess they fulfilled the 5000 orders within 2 days. Not bad! That's $250,000 in their bank account until they have to pay for the Nomads

neogeoz: next time you plan to trick people...try not to
brag about how you beat the system in the same forum. Theres enough mp3 players for all the people on the forum. Also, if you plan on selling these on fleabay, you wont be able to sell them for $170. The going price for the Nomad II 32 will decrease on fleabay due to an influx of these. Anyone out there taking econ that might be able to mathmatically estimate the selling price?

Speaking of fleabay, I got real sick of the people who sell FREE info on how to get a mp3 player for $50 on fleabay for $5~$10 to poeple who have no clue how to surf the web for hot deals. Ive emailed the bidders on the those auctions the information and posted an auction telling future bidders the information.

I think Ive became a better person now. I dont usually do things like this.

Holy crap! Talk about just under the wire! It's now 2:31PM PST, and I check the page www.emusic.com/promo/nomad/ and it says the promotion is now over. I went and checked my confirmation email from emusic.com saying I got the Nomad, and it was sent at 1:48PM PST! Sheeeit!

nah..they couldn't sue them, but if the sellers have done anything like that in the past (taken money and not given a product), there could be an investigation/suspension of account. I'm sure if they don't do something they'll be getting negative feedback from all the bidders..heck, even if they tell the bidders they'll still probably get neg feedback. Money grubbing no good..

I just noticed a $50.00 charge on my credit card for 25 May. Is it possible they are already shipping or are they just charging the card in advance. This wasn't just the normal charge authorization but an ACTUAL charge.

ingenue007, You don't have to download them to get your free Nomad II player... And if you actually want to download the MP3's, there is no time limit, I believe they will always be there, you can download them three times (max).
