Ingrown Hair or Something worse?

I have a rather large bump around my crotch area. It's location is not on my balls. I would say it's about 2 or 1 inches away from my balls or penis in the area of the crotch. It's been there for months and nothing has changed. I think it's a few ingrown hairs but I'm not sure. When should i go get this checked out?

Probably a cyst. Get it taken care of before it gets infected and inflamed, they can be pretty painful. I've been dealing with one on my back, seeing the surgeon again Thursday in fact.

If it is lanced it'll just come back. I noticed the one on my back about 10 years ago, had it drained, it was back in a year or so. There is an actual 'sack' that has to be removed.

Those things can be pretty deep. If you do it yourself be ready for lots of blood.
