Inkjet Cartridges, Buy One Get One Free

Just got an email stating buy 1 get 1 free inkjets.

I think this is an awesome deal! A buddy sent me a code he
got through an email, I paid 11 bucks or so entered the code
for my epson cartridge and got the same cartridge for free.

This is what I did... I went to their inkjet page.

Page is here

Found my cartridge (i have an epson sytlus C-80). Added it
to my cart and then checked out. On the last page their is
a field called something like PROMO or PROMO# dont remember
exactly. (took promo code off - sorry thanks for heads up)

Just noticed that they will give you the code if you call them.
I will be on ICQ most of the day. So if you really need it just
msg me.

I have found some great deals on these boards so I am finally
sharing the wealth!

Unfortunately I dont know if any other brand is on promo besides
the epson, their site says they have canon, hp and xerox also...
so I would try entering the code and seeing what you get.

Can you please tell me where you got your C-80
cartridge for that price? If its really that good I am
going to cancel my order with these people and buy
one. Although.. price would almost come out the same..
how much is shipping too, and sales tax? I got nailed
for sales tax on the site above... only taking a measely
buck or so.. but hey.. a bucks a buck.

Over $5 ground shipping for one cartridge to Tennessee. Yikes.

Plus, you have to enter your CC info prior to seeing the full price with any discount. Possible bad news there.

Bah! I can never find any carts for my xerox m750 docuprint. I got them from 123inkjets before, bit they lasted like 40 pages vs. 1000 or so for the xerox ones

Well. If you buy 3 @ $5.30 ea. ($15.90 total) and get 3 for free.
that would mean that your paying $2.65 each for the cartridges.

So why are they smoking crack?

Maybe you work for megatoners or something thats why that company
smokes crack?

Megatoners is a known quantity... good quality and service. Color carts for the Epson 880 are $2.61. Buy 18 of anything at Megatoners and get free shipping. Ordering isn't as scary, either... putting your credit card in prior to knowing if the discount code will work is a retailer no-no, even if it's legit.

By the way, are you ordering because of some spam they sent you? If so, I've got some swampland....

Actually a budy of mine ordered from them before and signed up for their newsletter.

He is the one that sent it to me because he knew I needed ink.

Didnt know about megatoners however.. i trusted the company on the promo code
only because i know that my friend has ordered from them before. I see your point
though.

After i entered my credit card information it did ask me to confirm my order, displaying my cart again
before actually processing which i appreciated because i forgot the promo code at first.

Megatoners has the 880 carts for dirt cheap It's around $1.60 for black and $2.60 for color. The quality of these cartridges is suspect though. I've read some bad reports about them. Another person said the previous 880 carts he got from Megatoners were fine, but the recent ones he ordered really stunk in print quality. I assume they just flip-flop to whatever supplier is cheapest, regardless of quality. So I haven't purchased from them yet.

Right now, I only buy cartridges backed by the manufacturer's brand. Like USAInkjets (based and manufactured in Las Vegas), or Nectron. For more info, search for "epson ink" in General Hardware for a thread that discusses this. If you buy them from the right places, they can even come out cheaper than a lot of places selling no-name cartridges.

i also use megatoners their carts work great in my epson 880. their service on the other hand sucks! it is the worst, but yes i still order from them because no one beats their prices!

Well guys you can't beat their price, but I use a 785epx exclusively for photos and an 880 for everything else and the 785 walks all over the 880 with epson ink, but the 880 blows the 785 away using simplybargains generic ink (they seem to be out of business now though which is why I tried megatoners) when I tried the same photo with it after not even coming close to screen quality with the photo printer. The megatoners ink is very faded and required 10 cleanings to get to awful (it looked like a halloween shoot for a while a waste of several sheets of very good paper).

Just my 2 cents, but I was very disappointed with the results and I understand blowing shitty ink through for normal printing, but the photo ink has to be of higher quality.

These generic ink sellers always say they guarantee each and every cartridge (a cartridge they're selling for $5 probably only costs them a buck or two).

If the ink cartridge leaks ink all over the inside of your printer? You get a new cartridge! woopee. Provided you mail the old one back to them.

If the ink cartridge clogs up your print head? You get a new cartridge too! Can't wait to get the replacement cartridge to see if it clogs things up even more. What a guarantee.

Well, all i can say is I hope its good.
I should be receiving my carts by mon. or tue.
I will let you know how they work.

Guess a garauntee on a $5 product really isnt anything special hehe... nice point there.

As far as megatoners.com goes.. i dont generally trust yahoo stores. But they do have good
prices.. just seems like a large risk to me. Maybe i will try em out anyway.

I have purchased from atdiscount.com before and had no problems.

I do alot of CD printing and those inkjets work great, their customer
service rocks, and shipping options are pretty good also.

I have never tried megatoners.com so I couldnt compare it for you.

And megatoners has never failed me. I am super-happy with them and they'll continue to get all my business for my epson carts. Can't beat under $10 shipped for several cartridges.
