Not a good deal.
I got a 2ghz, 1Gb ram, WUXGA screen, DVD burner, ati x300 128mb for $870 shipped include tax last month.

That config are a bunch of old parts flung together. Wait for the dual core notebooks to come out.
Dell is only good if it's really cheap. This price right now is fairly similar to other brands.
Plus the no glossy screen was the deal breaker for me, I sold mine and wait for a toshiba with the glossy screen.
