Ok, this is my first build so please bear with me...
I want to connect my evga 8800 gt to my corsair hx 620 power supply.
My motherboard is ga-x38-ds5.
I want to know the answers to the following questions:
1) since this board is Pci 2.0 is the extra power connector required?
2) If required how do I connect it to the 620 hx? i.e do I use the pcie 6 pin connector that came with the psu or do I use the cable that came with the graphics card?
3) Now, the graphics card cable has two white molex connectors with a single black connector at one end, I know the black one is the 6 pin and goes into the graphics card, what about
the white ones where do I connect them? Do they connect with the 4 pin molex power connector that came with the psu?
Thanks
