Installing a new car audio setup.

Hey guys. I have some extra cash and was looking to finally get around to installing my setup. This is what I was looking to buy:

560 Watt 6-Channel Power Amplifier

Die-cast subwoofer, magnesium-woofer cone, variable Q design. Dual four-ohm voice-coils.


I'm also going to be installing 4 KAPPA PERFECT6.1 6-1/2" Components down the line. I was just curious as to whether or not I should stick with the 560w amp, or pickup a 1200w Class D ?

not that i don't love infinity, but y stick w/ just them? their components are great, awesome for the price point, but i think u can do better on the amps for bang/buck. and what hu are u looking at? how are u planning to power the perfect comps?

Can't really advise you on that amp, but I have those Infinity components and they have a nice clean sound. I have a 200w Memphis amp pushing those and an old 2-channel Autotek amp pushing two kicker 10s. Also, an Alpine 9830 head unit up front. It's a nice sounding budget system. I'd suggest buying a seperate amp for the components and subs.

Well I have an employee discount (which is about 85%+ off everything) for JBL, Infinity, Harman, and a few other names. So I can get the amp, the sub, and the two components for less than $250, even though the retail price on that would be well over $2,500.

That's the question I was asking. If it was possible to run the components AND the sub off one amp, or if I'm going to have to split it up and run off two. But getting two amps almost surely means having to get a capacitator.

u don't have to get a capacitor for 2 amps, a distribution block, definitely, a capacitor, not necessary. for that deal, definitely worth doing though
where can i meet up w/ you for the hook up on that too?

If I were to go in two phases, starting with the sub, would the 560w 6 channel do just fine?

blew one of my perfect 12's powering 2 of them with that infinity 1200w amp, although they did sound quite nice, and where can I get that infinity discount at ? I have 2 infinity amps, 2 sets of perfect components, and used to have 2 subs but now down to one

How do you get 85% off and not know anything about them?

The 1210A is a mono amp, where are you getting 6 channel from?
