Installing PHPbb Problem- PIC included- Please Help!

I got everything uploaded correctly (FTP) but now when i wanna go to install the forums, like the walk though step by step stuff. i get this error at the top of the page:

i see the phpbb communites logo...and it looks like a form is there (not message board like form you fill out) but there is no text next to the boxs where you type....

Haven't done a phpBB install in a long time, but if nothing else are all of the file/folder permissions correctly set?

what do you mean? someone over at the PHPbb forums told me i should set my CHMOD's to 755, and i did, still nothing though.

You have to CHMOD all the directories that you are having fault with to full read/write, I think it is 777??

Looks to me like you have your paths set wrong, or else your permissions are really messed up

HELL NO. Don't ever set directories to 777 permissions, that's just asking for trouble.

Looks to me it's unable to find the files that need to be included. Check your path again. Since you are installing from the path:

http://www.mainframed.com/forums/install/install.php

it's trying to find the files to be included in:

http://www.mainframed.com/forums/install/language/lang_english/

So, make sure the files lang_main.php and lang_admin.php are in that directory.
