So after looking at the possible little additons that I can add to my Aspire X-Infinty case I am considerinf adding these to them : link
Yes I am talking about the Lian-Li wheels, it shouldn't be a hard mod right ? But I am not sure about how they attach to Lian cases, don't they have a couple of holes and are fixed using two screws or is it one big screw ?

Easiest/cheapest way........Cut out a piece of 3/4" thick wood the exact size as the bottom of your case. Buy four metal swivel carpet casters that attach to the wood with four little screws each.

You can attach this rolling platform to the case with four screws from the inside, using the holes in the case from the original rubber feet.

This works perfect...rolls easily over all surfaces, and adds enough weight to the bottom of the case to improve stability.

If you have bottom air intakes in your case, you can cut holes in the wood platform to match.

it
s a good idea that way my case is untouched since I am going to be using the original holes to hold the wooden piece. But where can I get stand alone swivel wheels from ?

I see Ebay is loaded with swivel wheels let's see... and I even got a better idea, I found some hooded swivel casters that I can bolt to my existing case holes, that will be so much easier and much cleaner.

There's a problem doing it that way.....the wheels will be too close together, and will cause the case to tip over unless you're real careful.

Using the wood platform, you can mount wheels right at the corners....much more stable. You can buy casters of different kinds at most large hardware stores.

Well I have made a bid a while from now on all nickel swivel casters, in case I found my case to be unstable with them at the location my case feet are right now I will drill holes at the corners of the case that way my case will be as stable as the wood peice would have made them, right ? The reason is that I want the casters look as if they were part of the case , they should look very nice

you mean you are doing this for practical reasons? Why not just bolt them to the bottom of your case? Preferably with 4 screws, or bolts, or whatever you are using. Actually, how heavy is your case? I wouldn't use any less than four for mine, but, well, yea...

Wrong, the search ends here, let's race (at least after I get my wheels deleivered) since your case weighs a ton, I will out of kindness give you a head-start

LOL. You are forgetting though. My 150 case just as to find a hill, and it's on. And I don't have to worry at all about mine falling over, so my weight > your lack of stability.

So you can put those Lian Li wheels on any case? Do Lian Li cases have holes pre-drilled for such accessories?
