Installing Whistler Personal Build 2410

Hi,

I am trying to install this, but I cannot figure out how to make the darn thing work :|

The file size of the ISO is 135 MB (142,426,112 bytes),

and unpacked, 439 MB (460,975,506 bytes).


THERE is NO SETUP.EXE :|

Well, there is one in the root directory, but that is not for the Windows Installer.

I am desperate to find a the 2410 built to install on my PC. Please help with an ISO or a rip link. PLease, point me int eh right direction, I have always wanteed to try whistler.

Only use files which provide an *.SFV file for double-checking the file integrity. The free program &quot;Quick SFV&quot; is useful for doing this. http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Mouse/4668/download.html

but you can only check once you have downloaded the whole ISO, cant you? It was not RARs.

Anway, I have found a FTP with it on, and am downloading the RARs as we speak

Beat 2 will be next though.

I am try to DL it now. Cant find a good server.

ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A GOOD SERVER to download from.

I have Beta 2 installed.. Build 2410
It is about 500MB but that without some options installed..

Build 2410 is NOTNOTNOT beta 2. It is still beta 1 build, officially. I just burned it, about to install. Beta 2 will be out soon.

You guys, don't ask for Whistler here. If you don't have it, then you don't. You will get in trouble if you do.

I have also installed Build 2410, and when it started it says Beta 2.

I have all three copies of Whistler 2410. Personal ,Pro and Advance Server

This build requires that stupid WAP registration, but there is already a crack for it.

Hye guys

I installed Whistler Beta 2. I apologize for my mistae earlier today. Build 241o IS IN FACT beta 2 of whistler.

It installed with some difficulty, primarily because of Promise Ultra100 controller. Otherwise, it is HOTTTT. I loe it.
Cant wait to install Office 10 Beta 2 on it as well.

Ask questions if ou wish. I will be happy to inform about my experiences.

guys, 2410 is NOT BETA 2. Although, it says beta 2 on the corner,
they are just preparing for it...

Microsoft confused me. THat's what I new from the evry beginning, that 2410 is NOT beta 2. THe install screen does say so though.

All I can is that the icons are cool looking but what a memory hog! Maybe it's my hardware (beta-testing it on a Compaq PIII 700Mhz notebook with 256mb ram) but 15MB~20MB of memory usage for the explorer (not IE) and frequent explorer crashes when multitasking? It's ridiculous. Also IE 6.0 is so buggy. A couple of days of more testing &amp; it's outta here!
