I'm trying to do a clean install on 2 x 80GB drives attached to my HPT372 (BIOS v2.32) onboard RAID controller (Motherboard is Epox 4PEA+).
There are no other HD's in the system at this point (I will attach the regular IDE drives once I get the installation complete).
I have the RAID 0 configured using the BIOS. I have downloaded the v2.32 drivers from Highpoint-tech.com .
I pressed F6 immediately after the boot of the Windows XP CD, and installed the drivers off a floppy.
The setup completes, and then the machine reboots. When the system is trying to boot up for the first time, I am getting a STOP: 0x0000007B immediately after the Windows XP splash screen.
I cannot upgrade the bios/drivers for the mobo (the latest bios for the 4PEA+ only contains v2.32).
Any suggestions on how I can get this setup working?
Thank you,
SpaceRanger
